Went to WI this weekend specifically to buy some Yokel since it was 2007 since I had it and loved the beer. Loaded up on WI beer and forgot the Yokel:flushed:. Dumbass!

I just had my first Apple Ale recently and it went down the hatchet in like 5 minutes. That was so refreshing. I want to drink it in the fall.

It's not happening this year, according to the brewery.

Heard from a reputable source Saturday that it's pretty much a given Snowshoe doesn't get made again this year....:slight_frown:

Any insight to what else is coming? No Dancing Man or Snowshoe makes room for???
    Coffee Stout?
    Stone Soup?
    Uff-Da?

Damn. The best summer wheat beer made in the USA.

Please be Stone Soup! Would be great beer for the later summer months.. Somebody else mentioned Black Wheat possibly since no DM, never tried that one so I would welcome that. Overall I haven't been buying NG since Hopster left, kind of a lackluster lineup right now for me personally.

Yokel is so good. I wanna see Hometown Blonde or Edel Pils come back. Stone Soup is pretty generic as far as the style goes, but those are standout pilsners.

Agree with this, Hometown Blonde is my favorite occasional release, just the perfect pilsner IMO.

I hate being the Negative Nancy here, but does NG even read the results? I have seen lots of good suggestions over the years, but it seems like a lot of the same stuff. I would love to see some new thumbprints.

    Seriously.

And, WHY??? Why, oh, why would New Glarus take away one of their absolute best standard offerings??

It might just be a coincidence, but I wrote in strawberry rhubarb for at least three years prior to that being made.

I've also written in Munich Dunkel just about every year though, so...
