Looks like 7 hauls have been posted for round 2 so far.
    32 teams - 7 boxes = 25 boxes owed

Despite all the rumors, I am in fact NOT out of beer. So no rush, and no need to do anything stupid, considering my 12 DoX box will be arriving soon too.

Not that this post will change anything, but I figure I might as well throw it out there.

    So 25, 32,35,36, 39 or 40 are the New 33 Club??

I would think we'd want something that isn't as bad as 40 (only hitting once) but something that hits 3-5 times in a year, so that we can get through a full round at least?

Really, we should take this data from the previous 2 years too for a larger statistical population. You never know, 35 might have hit 10 times the last two years!

I'm also curious if a lot of teams went for two. I know the Steelers did more than normal but I didn't see many teams go for two points.

Steelers did because their kicker missed the first couple of the season I think.....I could be wrong though.

Heard they've used four kickers this season! They also went for two this past week for shits and giggles. Love it though.

Sorry I missed out on this earlier. This is the first year with the new pat length. The percentage of missed pats has gone up drastically. Last year there were only 7 teams which missed a pat, and the lowest team % was the Falcons as the ONLY team to miss two pat attempts. This year only 8 teams remain perfect at pat attempts, with 19 teams having missed two or more already. I'll look up 2 pt attempt stats tomorrow.

Alright, I had a chance to analyze some data. I used 2013-2015 regular season stats. The league average for success rates for 2-pt conversions:

    2013: 33 for 69 = 47.8%
    2014: 28 for 59 = 47.5%
    2015(to-date): 38 for 81 = 46.9%

That makes the three-year average of 47.4% success rate

    PAT %:

    2013: 99.6
    2014: 99.3
    2015: 93.8

If you look only at these numbers, The expected value of going for 2 is now slightly higher than going for the regular PAT.
