@gopens44 I feel this game could literally go either way... on the one hand, we've been switching wins on and off... but each game (at least IMO) has been gut-wrenchingly close, and I feel this game will be no exception. Even though I'm obviously hoping the hawks win, I'm just excited to watch this game. Hoping it's more entertaining than last nights game (sorry... that game was a snore compared to most playoff games we've had so far, including others in that same series)

 

My only saving grace is that the odds are pretty off that both home teams lose a game seven. Either way, it's GOTTA be better than last night's game!

 

That's ok, I didn't need any more beer anyway. .....and it was a kicking motion!

 

IMO as a truly neutral third party (outside of having this BIF on the line) I don't think it was a distinct kicking motion, but I still think that's questionable... on the other hand, I don't think that goal is going to make the difference lol

 

Well I gotta bitch about something, but either way I agree - that goal likely won't matter!

Second box arrived from @Damian74Shensky! Again, another great selection of beers here. From left to right:

Westbrook One Claw - An excellent pale ale, looking forward to having this one again!
Coast Brewing Blackbeered - Haven't had anything from this brewery before, but excited to give this one a try.
Foothills Seeing Double IPA - Have been looking to try something from this brewery for a while. Can't wait to give this one a go this weekend!
Crowler of Smurphs Blood - Extremely stoked to have this as well!
DORIS the Destroyer - Have always wanted to try this, but never pulled the trigger on getting a bottle. Can't wait to have it!
Last, but not least: Bomb! - One of my favorites, so excited to have another bottle of this. I will be saving this for a special occasion!

A great game last night. Blackhawks always fight till the finish. I was really hoping Callahan would score on that breakaway in the third to put the game away, but on to the next one now. This should be a great series, two awesome teams to watch.

As a little added enticement to root even harder for my boys, CCB has struck a bet with 3 Floyd's with the loser supplying some rare tap takeover beers while they do a collaborative beer in honor of the Stanley Cup. I would love to be toasting a third cup in six years years with some tasty 3 Floyd's brews in the tasting room at CCB!

Edit....I'm an idiot, as the only way there's a tap takeover here at CCB with 3floyds beers is if the Lightning win........Oh, I'll still be going if only to drown my sorrows. Not going to happen though! Let's Go Hawks!

glad to see a chicago win tonight... unfortunate it was the last game of the season I'm able to watch due to my work schedule next week. LET'S GO BLACKHAWKS!

 

I hate to suggest undue stress onto Hawks fans, but I am really hoping for a game 7. Ideally a triple overtime tilt as well! Not really concerned over who wins, just want an epic game.

 

As much as that would suck, I'm ok with game 6 OR 7 going into many overtimes... I won't be able to watch them unless they are still going on at like 11:30

 

For my third (and most likely last box from this BIF as the Blackhawks are a few minutes from winning the cup), I have to give @johnyb huge props for this. I was floored by what he sent and could not be more grateful for his generosity.

RR Temptation - I was lucky to have this the other day and it is easily one of my new favorites. I am so thrilled to receive another bottle of this.
NG Apple Ale and CW BBA Stout - Two brews that have been on my wants list for a while new. Again, many thanks for these two.
Cigar City Bolita - Looking forward to try this one; Cigar City never disappoints.
2014 BCBS - Perma-want.
3x Jai Alai - Another perms-want and one of my favorite IPAs.
Hops for Heroes - Another one I look forward to trying from Cigar City.

As I wrap this up, the Blackhawks raise the cup for the 3rd time in six years. Congrats to @ninjembro and I look forward to being part of this BIF again next year!!!!

 

100% in for this again next year. I had the ice tracker up at work, it's not even close to the same experience
