2015 NHL Playoffs

Congrats to @ninjembro - can't wait to see those haul pix so we can all get to drooling! Gotta agree about Kimmo as well. Glad to see him win a cup while NOT wearing an orange sweater!

Now I am filled with deep sadness as the season is officially over, save for the draft. Looking forward to getting those fantasy draft started come August and start gearing up for the next haul season!

Through process of elimination, I figured out which NJ user a box just landed from...

NYFRB, just started landing near me, but will never argue getting more (both myself and my dad love the stuff)
Weyerbacher Cassiopeia -- despite being in distro, I don't actively seek out most of their stuff, and I've never had, so excited for this one
People's Porter -- Never had/never heard of, so definitely a WANT
Modern Times Black House -- Another never had/heard of
Terrapin WnB (2012) -- Interested to see what a couple years does to this, guessing the coffee is mostly/entirely gone, but I could be wrong. Wish I still had a 2014 to compare, will probably crack this very soon
Weyerbacher Tarte Nouveau w/ Blood Oranges -- Excited for this one as well

Thanks @st9647v3 !! I know it's tough shipping when we share most of our distro, but you definitely hit some permawants and never-hads, which in my book are WANTS!

 

You figured correctly - sorry about the NYFRB - so tough to tell who's getting this now!

As for the Weyerbachers, neither saw distro, so I felt fairly confident sending them back to PA :-)

That's quite all right -- I drank my only one a little over a week ago, let my dad sample it, and his exact words were "how many of these do you have?" and I responded "just this one", he seemed let down... found it in a store days later. I knew the Tarte didn't see distro, but didn't know the same was true of Cassiopeia -- makes sense as to why I've never seen it around

NoDa Hop Drop'n Roll -- Had a few of these back in December, fucking delicious beer. Will probably open tonight after work.
Burial Skillet Donut Stout -- Sounds amazing. I love me some coffee stouts.
Wicked Weed Medora -- I recently got my first two wicked weeds ever (red and golden angels, haven't opened them yet), and this is just adding to it. A share I'm going to this weekend is opening Oblivion and Genesis as well, so I'm definitely getting the wicked weed treatment out of nowhere! Stoked for this one
Wicked Weed La Bonte -- Again, more wicked weed! This one sounds very interesting. Not a huge pear fan, but I am a beer fan, so I'm sure I'll love it regardless
Foothills June 2015 IPA -- Interesting idea this brewery has going on with a new IPA every month for the year. Excited to try this, will probably take it to the share this weekend since we're very low on IPAs. Thanks for this one!

All in all, yet another killer box from this BIF. Thanks so much!

Westbrook Gose -- Can never have enough of this, recently had a friend #pickitupformebro 30 cans and I've barely dug into those, but I will never complain of more of this great beer.
CCB Cubano Style Espresso -- Sounds amazing, I've liked the few CCB beers I've tried, excited for this one.
Old Pro Gose -- Have heard good things about this one, excited to try it
Carton Boat -- Same as above, have heard this is a great one, excited for this
Carton Dune Fruit -- Been seeing people talk about this, love me a sour, and heard this one is pretty tasty
Carton 077XX -- VERY excited to try this, again, have heard nothing but great things

All in all, for a box from someone with mostly similar distro, this is killer. Never had any carton before, so excited to have those three, the WB gose is always welcome, and the other two are also new ticks for me. Thanks!

Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin -- Never had! Excited to finally try
Modern Times Oneida x2 -- Another never had, never heard of it, but a "hoppy sessionable pale ale" sounds awesome
Saint Archer Blonde Ale and White Ale -- Also never hads/heard ofs, I love getting local stuff I've not heard of and trying different breweries beers, excited for these two as well
Prairie BOMB! -- PERMAWANT, this beer is so good
Belching Beaver Peanut Butter Milk Stout -- Another never heard of, but I enjoy some stouts, especially a bomber like this that isn't incredibly high ABV as I can enjoy it myself on a work night and not get too unreasonable

2014 BCBCS -- PERMAWANT. I can never get too much of this stuff.
El Segundo Mayberry IPA and Hammerland IPA -- Never heard of these, super excited to try.
Allagash Farm to Face -- This is one of those "I didn't know this existed but now that I know it exists it's definitely a want" beers. I don't follow Allagash releases pretty much at all, but the few sours of theirs I've had have all been fantastic, and I'm going to bet this will be the same.
Boulevard Love Child No. 5 -- Seen this one popping up occasionally, excited to have a bottle of my own.
Amager/Jester King Danish Metal -- Another one I've not heard of and sounds fantastic.

That should actually be all of my boxes except for one, and to my understanding that one will be a little later due to an injury -- perfectly understandable and gives me a chance to drink down a little of what I have.....

We had a little side action going, so he sent quite the box -- as much as I like getting lots of different things, I also love when a box has multiples of different beers, either for sharing or if it's just that good, having more than 1 is always great. Damian is semi-retired. But he reached out to me a week ago and asked to let him know when someone starts a 2016 playoff hockey bif. He said he is too busy to run it, so whoever wants to step up, can have at it.

 

If nobody objects, I'll roll it out. Give me until Monday or Tuesday to review last years game and I'll start a new thread and begin solicitations.
