I have no doubt. Yet another reason to head up for the April release.

Just read all the comments that were previously mentioned about people bitching up a storm over not getting a bottle. I can't believe how some people think this stuff works/should work. First come first serve, can't be any more fair than that. BTW I got a bottle and thanks to those that helped.

Well that's vague. Lukas, Davidson's, Heritage, and Incredible have zip.

Were either of them Holly Elkins? She cracks me up with the crazy shit she posts.

Waited in line today at lukas for a few minutes and missed it by one person. A very sweet lady in front of me offered her bottle but she was with her husband and daughter so I declined. Maybe next year!

Had it on tap at Hops & Pie. It was really good but I found it a bit thinner than last years. Uncle Jacob's has been the best bba stout to come out this year imo.

That's what I thought about '13 vs '12. I found '13 much thinner in body, weak on the barrel and way too hoppy for my liking. '14 I liked, but still not as much as I loved '12. Haven't had '15 yet. Hoping to at least get it on tap somewhere even if I never manage to get a bottle.

Yeah I ain't hitting the road for Parabola... she's on tap at probably 3 different places in town right now, people. Everyone settle down.

That said the only release I will ever be mildly mad at was the last CLM Pliny one. 3 bottle limit? Missed it by one person, but oh well shoulda got my ass there earlier.

Wish I got some, but I missed out. I luckily still have some previous vintages. These age quick IMO, so I'll probably just drink 'em soon.

Doesn't ring a bell for the name, so don't think so. I'll have to keep an eye out though.

I'll never quite understand weird obsessions over hunting down a beer. Are there beers I would like to have purchased that sold out? Sure. There's a big difference between being a bit disappointed and going on a bonkers rant, though.
If certain beers mean that much to you, you should probably be trading or cultivating retail relationships.

    YOU GET ALL THE LIKES.

I will never understand that level of obsession cause for me it ruins it. Beer is fun... finding rare beer is cool and very fun. When you freak the fuck out over your rare beer or a sale you missed, there goes the fun. Stop making beer unfun, weirdos.

But, but, like, didn't you go to Germany for certain beers? Or for the schnitzel? :grimacing:

I can actually get most of my 5-star German beers over here now and I could always trade for most of the others. If Keesmann would ever export Herren Pils (unlikely) we'd have almost all of my favorites.
It's more of an experience thing. Munich is one of my favorite cities, and it's just convenient that they happen to have great beers, too. Freshness matters, too. It's why I rarely bring much back in spite of beers being like 30 cents each. You can't package the experience - you just have to go.
The schnitzel IS reason enough, too. You haven't lived until you've had the Schnitzel at Spezial with a fresh Ungespundetes or Rauchbier.

I've been out of town the past week and now out of town again for work so likely I missed it. I happen to love every vintage of this beer and would gladly take an extra off your hands.

If you're still looking shoot me a message. Found four last night - bought two, left two...
