I have not learned my lesson apparently, still getting in on this discussion but...
This is not what I heard, mine was a 100% single hop variety you all know... I guess it remains to be seen who is right.

ISO: one can of Surly Wet containing a toe with nail polish.
FT: one bottle of Surly Darkness filled half way with the devil's urine. Will add extra urine if you can get the toe can to me by three this afternoon.

I have to go with the other guy on this one, you just don't use the words "Whakapono and Tupato-kore" unless you mean business.

That's a very fair assumption... I am intrigued by these names as well.

EDIT: Two questions come to mind.
1.) I cannot find these two hop variety names listed anywhere on the internet so far. If they are new though could be explained
2.) drop shipping wet hops in that quantitiy from new zealand seems like a logisitcal nightmare and insanely expensive. Not saying it can't be done, it certianly can but hopefully it doesn't make WET break the 20 dollar a four pack price point.

Not to mention New Zealand is in the Southern hemisphere and their hop harvest was ~6 months ago.

Good point, Could they be new zealand hops that are grown elsewhere? maybe they were just "discovered" for lack of a better term in new zealand and are being grown in somewhere with a similar climate... who knows.

What has the price point of Wet been in the past?

If memory serves, it was a dollar or two under abrasive pricing.

not doubting, but I wish I could find something... anything really on those two hop varieties. Just seem to be non-existant.

If they are experimental, that is most likely why you can't find anything. I am sure they like to keep that stuff under wraps until they are ready.

Do you think has potential to reach TG levels?

I don't know of any other breweries that have that potential.

I wonder if they go back to 50/50 Simcoe/Citra.

After not having it last year, if it is on level with 2 years ago, I will be happy.

I tried a bunch of wet or fresh hopped beers last year and none of them really lived up to my expectations.
