I'm in a beer trading Facebook group and somebody recently posted a trade looking for a CASE of Bourbon County Coffee. I laughed at first, because how many people are sitting on a case? I thought it was absurd, but another person in the group said it was everywhere. He said there were probably 50 people in Indianapolis with at least a case. That got me to thinking, does anybody know an actual bottle count or have any idea? Based on my experience, I'd be shocked if there were 50 people in Chicago with a case of Coffee, but again I'm open to being convinced otherwise with enough data points.
I can assure you that there aren't more than maybe ten people in Indianapolis that COULD have a case of Coffee without trading for a bunch. The largest allocation at any store was two bottles.
it was lucky, honestly. a shop that i go to regularly got a case and after he held on to it for a couple of days I talked him into just selling me the remaining bottles....so I got 8 from him total.
