2016 Black Note pt Deux

Yea, it's going to take some work to scrub off Bells' X....they were using one of those 5/8" Magnum sized sharpie markers. Gonna have to use some Fast Orange and scrub my skin raw to get that ink out...it's like a tattoo haha.

 

Was in and out in 5 min. Super easy. Still have over 2 pallets left. My guess is is lasts until tomorrow.

 

Yeah, I went to lunch with my family right after (at Culver's instead of Eccentric Café due to the 1 hour wait ) and I scrubbed like crazy and there is still a faint image of it on my hand....and I scrubbed so hard that it ended up on my other hands' fingernails!

 

a bar of lava soap will pull that sucker right off

 

Whats the price on it? Might have to stop there tomorrow and see if there is any left...

I felt the same way. I was at my parent's house near flint for both black note releases.

They still should have plenty. They had several pallets. Was there for All Stouts Day. They had no big signs, so many people had no clue since there was no line at the general store. They were marking people's hands. Saw 2 people get turned away even after they rubbed off the X. The door chick told me some dude came last year with a full beard, shaved it to just a goatee, changed clothes and tried to buy more. They recognized him and said good try!

Yep. And I got one of the last pours of Blackbeard bear hug, which may as well be named bcs prop 13.

 

All shirts are $10 because they're slightly updating the logo. That's the real secret.

 

That beer is phenomenal.

I don't love the base bear hug. But that shit is magical.

Damn I missed the t-shirt? I knew I should have went back in. They kind of pushed you through the line and unlike Cedar Point, you didn't end up back in the store to spend more money.

 

I am with you here. I had actually planned on checking out other stuff in the store, but with the way the line went, you never had a chance to see what else was there. So by the time I got my bottles, I was just happy to have them and back in my car with them. Oh well...not like I really need another beer shirt at this point anyway.

 

If someone would post tomorrow on availability it would be appreciated. Can go out of my way to be there about 2:30 if there is any left.
