Yea if it's turd status on shelves that you see, share the locations....I'm sure there would be plenty of people on that side of the state who would appreciate the tip:wink:

Niles area and Surrounding NWI region, I can't think of a store that HASN'T gotten it. Saw it at a grocery store in Niles selling whole 4-packs and with no limit that I could see.

Probably due to location....can't find it around Kalamazoo....Good to know though just in case...

Thanks for my monthly reminder that anything that sits on a shelf for a couple weeks is a shelf turd.

Lol mostly just based on demand, because it's something I wouldn't expect to even SEE on a shelf let alone at multiple places let alone for even more than a week.

Note trying to rant but wanted to post and see if others have seen this. I live about 45 minutes away from the brewery in Branch county and was told that Branch county didn't receive an allocation of Black Note. Is this just because they figure we had an opportunity to purchase at the brewery? If this is true it's kind of sad considering myself and most beer drinkers I know support Bells to no end. I'm not knocking Bells because I'm sure if anything it's an issue with the distributor. Just wondering how people so close to the brewery that are loyal supporters will miss out on this when other states are getting it. Not that other states don't support Bells, but usually people buy local favorites on a regular basis. @LarryBell

Batch 2 was available for several days at Bell's (including weekend and during the week). So you would rather get 1 bottle limit in distro then drive 45 minutes for 12 bottles?!?!!?
I drove 2 hours on the 3rd or 4th day beer was available to get BN.
I swear, people will bitch about anything and everything.

Also, Bells does not control who gets what. The distributer does.

Bells has no idea where he goes once it leaves the building.

I just recently had a batch 1. And it wasn't worth the hype and price at all.

I'm not sure why you would think that is the case since people in Kalamazoo have posted that it hit distro here & we are the closest to Bells

Schaumburg and St Charles Binnys had it yesterday. Was a 2 bottle limit and St Charles had maybe 2-4 bottles left around close.

St Charles *may* have put a few more out at $6.99. I grabbed one and it appeared there were 6-7 left

Batch 2 is definitely floating around the suburban Binny's. I managed to snag it at two different ones (4-pack total) near Oak Park. Of course it's hiding in the back.

LP Binnys got it too. Hopefully the word isn't out yet and Grand will have some in the morning.

It's more or less just a way to see say "I hope Binnys grand has some in the morning when I stop by."

If they're sold out, so be it. If I can help someone else grab a bottle, then that's awesome. I don't need to keep shit quiet.

    It's only a beverage man.

Only a beverage? This is a BA stout, every word you type should be chosen as carefully as if you were writing a legal brief!

With that being said, I'd like to grab a bottle myself. It didn't blow me away at FoBAB last year, so I want to give it a full, fair chance.
