MBA tickets sold quickly - sold out in about 5 minutes from what I could tell. Good luck everyone!

5 minutes is an eternity these days...

Yeah, was kind of surprised they didn't sell out more quickly. I did hear that there was more MBA tickets available this year to members.

Agreed. Quickly in this respect is certainly relative. Setting Over/Under for General Admission on-sale at 5 seconds.

Hmmm.. Still some MBA pre-sale tickets available. Carts must have opened.

Was expecting website to suck, but easily got tickets.

Edit: Also when I said it was too close to WhiskyFest I thought whisky fest was on the 12th, so the dates aint bad actually.

Seemed to work pretty easily for me as well. I meant to get mobile tickets, but forgot to change that once the site was live. I may contact them to see if they can switch it. I've never been before, but would imagine I'd prefer not to wait in line at will call for tickets the day of the event.

I think you'll still wait a bit as there seems to be only one line to get in. Will call moves reasonably quick.

Kudos to BPT for smooth transaction.

If it's like last year, they check your name off a list regardless of ticket type. From the confirmation page/email:

You can change it to mobile from the confirmation screen, I also forgot to get mobile and it was really easy to change it.

I was expecting website to be stuck as well, but it was a very smooth transaction. See you all there!

Well, perhaps there is no need for me to change my ticket type then. Thanks for the information.

I had two tickets in cart in a second browser that should drop any second. Have at them!

Pretty pumped. What were the best stouts from last year?

Take your pick. Prop '14 and Vanilla Rye were there, Madagascar was there, Hailstorm had a few great Vlad variants, 18th Street brought a few different things, Manhattan Barrel-Aged Might Means Right...And of course, BA Malevolence Chocolate Caliente.

Stout Fest was my favorite beer event of last year (so much good BA stuff, so easy to get a hold of), so I'm pretty pumped for this year.

I just realized it doesnt look like 4 Hands is going to be at the event this year, also no pipeworks. Kind of bummed now that I look at the list.

Yeah, it's definitely a shame (no 18th street, either), but it's still a pretty solid list, I think:

    Aquanaut Brewing Company
    Blue Nose Brewery
    Bucket List Brewing
    Cruz Blanca
    Destihl Brewing
    Emmets Brewing Co.
    Empirical Brewery
    Finch's Beer Co.
    Goose Island Beer Co.
    Goose Island Clybourn
    Hailstorm Brewing Co.
    Half Acre Beer Co.
    Haymarket Pub and Brewery
    Horse Thief Hollow Brewing Co.
    Perennial Artisan Ales
    Pig Minds Brewing Co.
    Revolution Brewing
    Sketchbook Brewing Co.
    Smylie Brothers Brewing Co.
    South Loop Brewing
    Spiteful Brewing
    Temperance Beer Co.
    Ten Ninety Brewing Co.
