New email for us (2016 HS).

SQUEALERS AND COCONUT/VANILLA DAYLIGHT
1. You guys asked for it (kinda) so we've got bottles of Daylight Cravings with Coconut and Vanilla being packaged out. Limit is 2 per person. We've got labels on the way so they should be ready in 2-3 weeks once labels arrive and such. $15 a bottle.

2. The Squealers are at the brewery and available for pickup. Cheers!

3. 2015 members have a first crack at a Golden Sour (Gilt) but we'll open up sales to 2016 members on April 1st, more info to follow.

4. Thanks to everyone that came out for Daylight Day, it was a great first year and we're looking to really making it a blast next year.

1. 2016 members can now pre-order Gilt, our golden sour. $14 a bottle, no limits, available until they are gone (labels limiting factor this time) or April 15th, 2016 (AD).

Not quite the benefit that was in their initial bullet points of what we get but at least it appears something will be available full time for members who have their Squealer.

 

Got it. I was not aware this was an extra benefit. My bad.

 

Has anyone tried the two new Great Debate Variants mentioned in the e-mail update?

Thoughts?

 

Of the AB and BBA? Pretty sure those have not hit draft yet. The only variants that have made it out so far is Coconut and the Mint Chocolate. I had the Mint Chocolate and it was nice. The mint was subtle but melted in for a nice finish.

So what's the deal with these Berliners? The blackberry variant is very, very good. Perfect amount of tartness and fruit. Right up there with the Morning Juices honestly.

Are they going to be packaged in 750s? God, I would love 6 packs or even 4 packs of stuff like that down the road...

 

Planning to come pick up my bottles in the next week or two; was wondering if there was any word on the Spiegelau glasses or did I miss an email?

 

Still no word. Last update was May 2nd when Adam mentioned hoping to have an update by the following week but nothing (email update or otherwise) has come since then.

 

I believe the Society members get a bottle of one, but not sure what or when. Unless I have missed it, the rest will be kegs only.

 

Unless the HS bottles change up from what was mentioned a few weeks ago then at least the Pineapple as well as Passionfruit would be bottled is my understanding. Maybe bros could put them each on tap and then get feedback from members who happen to have them as to which one(s) they would prefer to have bottled?

 

One problem with that is the last half barrel of Blackberry got tapped today. Not to mention tank space and cooler space.

 

Reading through posts yesterday on the HS group page it appears all bottles/items for the 1st half pickup deadline of July 15th are ready and there will not be anything else coming for the required 1st half. I think Gilt was originally in the first half but that seems not to have been bottled yet and will be moved to the 2nd half for pickup by 1/15/2017. The only other item we have not heard more on is the glassware so I assume that will also be shifted to the 2nd half p/u

So, if you have not picked up yet and are waiting for everything to come available to make one trip you have 6 weekends left to do so. Of course @BrosCraftBrew, @lillitnn92 or @BCBChris can confirm the above to make sure I'm not wrong in my info.
