But can they cover the spread ? Therein lies the question.......

 

Yea, having the top seeds in a spread format isn't always a lock. Back when I used to bet on NCAA tournament games, the top 2 seeds only covered the spread about 50-60% of the time, because the spread is always 30+ pts. All it takes is a slow start, and that 35 pt spread is impossible to cover.

 

One @johnyb down So that's like the first or second win I've had against you in anything in 2+ years? but I'll take it, even if it was a random draw. It's been a long time coming. I'm just sorry I couldn't have taken you out further along, after you built up your hopes that you could actually win something. I wanted the devastation factor to still be fresh in your head come September. Oh well, that's one burr under my saddle out of the way.

A true gentleman as always The way you talk to me makes feel all warm and cozy inside, just like my wife talks to me (no sarcasm on the last part).

 

In the interest of talking smack, my team from , NY(St. Joe's) will be defeated but cover the spread. Hence, my acquisition of your Oregon squad which will propel me further into this tournament. There is nothing personal, it is just the way that things go...........wait for it......BURN!
