Wow. Even better than the last batch, and that's saying a lot

Amazing beer, and given the last batch, that's saying a lot. Excellent job with the beer and the release, JK. Back at it tomorrow and Sunday.

Having had last years batch and this years batch, I also enjoyed the heck out of this one a whole lot more. Man the cherries were all over your face, tart, and very refreshing. I don't know what is the suggested temperature consumption but this is one that I enjoyed cold, after standing a few minutes at 100F by the end it started loosing its tartness as it warmed up. It was either that or my taste buds were already acclimated.

I think it barely made it to the 2nd weekend Friday and finished off then. Really curious to hear how fast it goes today.

Just got here -- I'd say 200-250 people.

I was overall very impressed how it turned out. Showed up an hour before opening, just to realize I pretty much arrived too early. There wasn't even a line forming yet until one of the employees told everybody to make one. Either way, I bought every JK bottle I needed + some, had multiple drafts of everything I wanted, and enjoyed a great tour all in less than 2 hours.

Side note, this is my first JK visit. Not sure if this is the norm or what. But I've been to bottle releases at other breweries/bars/stores that been way more hectic and disorganized than this. Very impressed.

@jesterking, how many bottles are left for today? Abouts?

I thought this release scheme would lead to "land rushes" every day this weekend, rather than spreading the wealth. As quickly as MvB sold out yesterday, I was worried about today, knowing I couldn't get there till about 4. However, this afternoon was very chill. I never saw a line at the MvB tent. When I left at 5:45, there was about half a pallet left. I had 3 pours of MvB on draft. Went much better than I imagined. Good job Jester King.

Agreed, both Friday and Saturday went seemlessly. Very chill and bottles didn't even sell out quickly. Bottles didn't sell out till around 630 on Friday. Not even sure if they sold out today yet? Props to Jester King for managing this release flawlessly, I had a great time and the weather was absolutely perfect; thank god for that constant breeze.

That's what's so great to me too. I prefer to go on Sundays with the family and the fact that these type of beers would definitely be available on tap for anyone showing up at noon or 1 or whatever is pretty great. I love the idea.
