Dave, thanks again for doing a great job running this!!!!

I took a peek at this upcoming week and I have a feeling a large percentage(maybe all?) of the remaining teams might make the same pick. If so, that's going to take us into week 15. there would then only be three weeks left in the regular season. Maybe figure out a way to accelerate an outcome here? One idea I had would be to have the remaining teams email you their picks early, if by chance they're all the same throw that game out and pick another? I'm enjoying the drama, just food for thought as the season is winding down.

 

If you're referring to the bears/lions game, i will not be picking that game.

In previous seasons, we have started picking two games this late, but I'm down for whatever @RuckIt wants to do. I would also run this trough playoffs, with a reset of available teams. That would be interesting...you'd have to make picks to save at least one team for the next week

 

I am happy to cut my losses and not ship or receive.

Your pick was definitely the better one this week Mike. Thought our Bears were going to pull it out.

 

Crazy it's gone this far!!!! I'm only bringing this up as it's been a lot of fun hanging on for dear life every week in this thing, but if we had a unanimous decision amongst the survivors to chop this up at any point with four survivors remaining it works out evenly.............

1st place is 12 boxes
2nd place is 10
3rd place is 8
4th place is 6

Total of 36 boxes, split now amongst four survivors is 9 each. If one guy gets eliminated and the remaining three split its 10 each. if it goes down to 2 left, they could split 11 each or with an outright winner they would get 12. As each new guy gets knocked out now, it adds a box to your winnings versus a spilt now............ 9,10,11,12. (Not much difference).

I'm only suggesting this as a possible option as it's getting late in the year shipping wise. I'm in FL, not a problem here but watching football this weekend made me realize that my BA brethren in other states might have some issues coming up very shortly weather wise.

And, I'm also totally cool with riding this out to the bitter end. Just food for thought...............

@Summer78 , @WhoDatMatt @wittyname what are your thoughts? I would also be down for a sidebet of some sort amongst the four of us if you did decide to chop this up. Still have to have a winner!!!
