So first off, I have no idea where to post this question. Since I'm in AZ I figured it should go here.

My buddy bought a bottle of 2016 Parabola this week. The box does not say 2016 on it and the label on the bottle says 2012 and says batch 003. He got it at the Whole Foods on Tatum and Shea. Does anybody else's bottles (and box) meet the same description? Do you think it is mismarked or did Firestone send out a 2012 box by accident?

If the bottle and the box match up I'd say it is vintage and a good score.

Haven't opened it yet so don't know what it tastes like.

I reached out to Firestone and they seem to be kinda freaking out because they didn't distribute Parabola to Whole Foods in 2012.

I live close to there. I was told they actually recieved a few cases of 2012. By accident. And then sold by accident. So definitely a good score

So I passed along the info you shared to a contact at Firestone. The response is below...

"Wow. They just sent someone in to do a physical inventory count. Library
beers are stored in a locked cold room that is upstairs from regular beer
storage, so it would have required to go in and actually take the beers,
which is bizarre to think about. Another option could be that the
distributor accidentally sent Whole Foods some of their library - but no
distributor has ever held on to cases of Parabola before.

Either way… wow! Some very lucky Whole Foods shoppers in Arizona, that’s
    for sure. "
