Carlsbad Pizza port bottle shop had parabola on Monday, @ 21.99 though..

 

What, that is robbery, and since they are a pizza port location I don't feel like they should be doing stuff like that.

 

Yeah I was like nope at that price. They had 2011 abyss for the same price about a month or 2 ago. Was gone this time though.

 

Carlsbad PP Bottle shop has had high pricing for awhile, not much different than Texas for the past year.

 

FW in Venice now has Parabola again. Limit 1. Theres also one bottle of Parabajava left.

At this point, just realize that the inventory of Firestone stores will ebb and flow. Do you complain that Sucaba or Velvet Merkin or Helldorado goes back on the shelf and off the shelf over time? Yes, what it means is that there's a potential to get it restocked and there's a potential it won't be. Stop acting like any of their beers are a one time only release. Because it can and will vary.

 

Vintages of sucaba are on the shelf at Barrelworks as of last week. So your argument there is that they sit forever so there's never any chance to HAVE to restock?

Stuff like this is seasonal. Meaning that they have a good amount of it. Shit, for Parabola it's 4000 cases. So yeah, there's plenty there and they'll release it how they want to and not in the manner that they dump it all out at once.

Shit, just saw that Bretta Rose got distribution this time around and it's hitting spots like Missouri. Who would have thunk that a Barrelworks beer would have made it out that far without the help of mules like yourself.

 

In Carlsbad I've found that no one place is the right place to go. Prices vary as do selections and when you think one place has been doing the best with prices you go to the next place and they are selling that same bomber for $2 less. I'm sure Texas will sell Parabola again in the next few months and this time it'll be at $25.99 because they held a case back.

 

I think people don't notice the more than likely "restocking" of Merkin and Sucaba because they were never absent from the shelf. 4 bottles becomes 10, whittles back down to 5, then there's 11. It just looks like it's still there in quantity the whole time.

I picked up a couple of bottles randomly this weekend while getting my kid gummy worms. New Star Liquor on Fell and Divisadero (Near 4505 BBQ) for my SF peeps. Also had a full row of KBS just chillin in the fridge.

 

I'm going to try to hit up the FW location and score some more of it. Bringing my DL, SS card and Passport!

Confirmed tw brea. I saw 3 cases behind the counter, 1 opened the other two appeared sealed. So you could probably count on 12 at this moment in time.

Called and looks like only Van Nuys has it in the LA area right now.

 

Does anyone know of a place in the Bay Area that is still selling parabola? Probably a long shot but I'm here from Ohio just hoping I could score it!
