Pre-sale tickets are for the base. Wristbands Friday afternoon are for your place in line Saturday which gives you a chance at purchasing variants.

Didn't see it on there and didn't receive an email, but does anyone know how this works for Horizon Society members? Do we get a shot to purchase base and variants before general public? Any bottles included in membership?

Yes. Included in HS membership is the opportunity to purchase Resolute, Resolute Variant #1, Resolute Variant #2 as well as the currently planned HS Exclusive Double-Barrel Resolute. The allotment for HS has not been determined/announced yet. This should be done via online purchase just like our bottles have been up to this point.

This is separate from the wristband and pre-sale ticket so if you really want to max you take then you could buy full allotment through HS, get guaranteed allotment of regular Resolute with your pre-sale ticket AND also whatever the announced allotment of regular plus variants are for wristband. Keep in mind the wristband does not guarantee any bottles, just your spot in line.

P.s Bros is not allowing HS pickups (scheduled or unscheduled) on Resolute Day. And no unscheduled pickups that weekend (Fri or Sun) either. They will be doing scheduled pickups on Fri and Sun however.

It would be kind of dumb to schedule you pickup for Friday too since you won't be able to get your Resolute bottles. I get why they are doing it but that sucks.

This was definitely one of my favorite beer release events last year, I will be back again. Hopefully, staying at a better hotel this time.

I may be confused. When I read the website I was under the impression the pre-sale ticket was getting you an allocation of regular Resolute and one of each of the variants.
Then when you get a wristband and get in line, you will have the opportunity to buy a second allocation if you want?
Correct me if I am wrong but I thought that the pre-sale ticket included variants?

2nd part of that comment is correct. Wristband allows you to purchase a 2nd allocation if there are still bottles remaining by the time your wristband # comes up for purchasing bottles AND you don't miss your spot in line being called up.

Pre-Sale ticket only guarantees you regular Resolute bottle allocation and not the variants. @BrosCraftBrew should probably change the wording of this so people know pre-sale tickets are for guarantee of regular only. So just think of it like this

Pre-Sale Ticket: Guarantees Regular Resolute ONLY (whatever the pre-sale allocation limit is). Bottles must be purchased/picked up by close of business on Resolute Day. They will not hold bottles if you do not show up. You do not get refunded the ticket cost if you do not show up and no proxies. Name on ticket must match ID of person purchasing/picking up bottles.

    Wristband:
Your position in line for Regular AND Variants (so long as there are bottles of these remaining when your number comes up AND you show up). DOES NOT guarantee you will get bottles however. Bottles will not be saved if you miss showing when your number comes up. (i.e. you are #200 but do not show up until they are on #500. You would be next in line to purchase whatever bottles are left up to the allocation limit if available. If a variant bottle sold out at #495 then you are SOL.)

    Horizon Society Member:
Opportunity to purchase Variants and HS exclusive variant (whatever the allocation limit is set at for members). 2 bottles of Regular Resolute are included with HS Membership.

@TomCat11 Thanks for the clarification. The wording on their website is a bit confusing to me and I could have seen it go either way. They should more clearly state the tickets are for the REGULAR Resolute only, or maybe I'm just slow. I was hoping that the pre-sale ticket would help out for the variants but I will just try to get there on Friday instead of Saturday morning.

    Thanks again!

They have updated the site so it is clear pre-sale is for regular only.

I would assume it is 1pp but if one goes to the site and tries to order it appears they could order a total of 97 pre-sale tickets. I have to think that is a glitch but then again maybe with how long regular Resolute bottles stuck around last year they are allowing people to purchase more pre-sale tickets this year. And it's not clearly stated in the details...

Anyone mind sharing some experience of going to this release? I read up on their event page on Facebook and here on BA as well but is this going to be worth the trip? I saw they'll have nearly 800 fewer bottles than last year so are we thinking that the total count on the variant bottles will be... 50? 75? (Were they 150 bottles last year for variant and 500 allotments for regular?) With maybe enough for 300 or so allotments of Resolute. I do hope they announce the bottle count to give people an idea of what they'd be shooting for but I understand it goes both ways. This was something I really wanted to try now that I've moved to the area but with the limits to be much smaller, I'm wondering even if I made it between 5-6 on Friday if I would have a chance of snagging a wrist band that would put me in a position to get some bottles of the regular and variant release. I'm 2 hours from Brothers' Craft so just trying to scope this out.

    Thanks in advance!

Not knowing limits yet I gotta think you would be good if you snagged a wristband on Friday. I showed up Sat around 1pm and was something like wristband #322. Just outside the variant allocation window if everyone before me got their 2pp limits and was about to get Double Vanilla. Missed out on Coconut barely because I did not hear my group called. Counts were 3,600 regular and 600 each of both variants. Regular was available for over a month in the tap room after Resolute Day.
