f44 and sll generally try to work with people who have a daytime office job.

 

Elevated is also doing a 5pm release, along with their initial release earlier. Like @mingo said SLL, F44 have done this for awhile. I like it.

 

Visiting my local liquor stores, they sure seem to think so. Its funny the answers I get to a direct question "Do you have Surly Darkness?"

• Ah, we got it but I don't think we can sell it until tomorrow
• We don't have it, maybe in a hour (with the Surly truck out front and the delivery driver having a beer with the mgr on duty)

You could probably label me a truck chaser since I got all 6 the bottles I wanted before noon but at some point you just have to accept that people are going to chase after this stuff and just be straight with me, if you don't want to sell it to me tell me and I'll drive a mile further to the next liquor store.

 

Hyvee in Brooklyn Park sold out. Only got 1 case due to just opening. Whole Foods in Maple Grove said that they are not getting any.

 

I get that, I just don't see the whole tickets deal. Are they really going to have a full store between 4:30 and 5:00 and sell out within minutes?
I didn't think Darkness was like that anymore.

I actually like when stores do two releases (if they can), we all work different shifts.

It keeps folks from having to stand in line plugging up the store for 30 mins before the release. Keep them browsing around, shopping and not being obstacles to the regular shoppers

 

IRCC last year F44 had a 5pm RLS and sold out like in 20 minutes or so.

 

Any idea of amount left (for those who've been in?)

 

Cub Liquors in Shakopee $19.99 one bottle limit - they got 3 cases
