It is the running joke isn't it last year was always the last Darkness Day so see you all next year!

Hopefully my tent doesn't blow down next year and I don't spill part of a bottle of Abyss all over myself!

And if the four Candiens who brought Le Temps Noir and Thor's hammer by our tent read this I hope to get a taste next year!

My two favorite moments from today:
    1. Called one store to see if the truck has stopped by yet and they didn't even bother to say hello, just answered with "Yes, we have it."
    2. Just missed out at one store, the lady behind the counter proclaims "We still have Rum King, but it isn't the same."

I haven't heard much on how this years is tasting? I was only going to get a few bottles this year but after sharing this first bottle I'm going to have to look for some more. This year is as good as 2013 for me. It's not as sweet as the last few years which I like and more balanced. Delicious creamy chocolate, cherries and vanilla with the perfect signature darkness bitterness. Just when you think it can't get any better, you remember Abrasive is releasing this month!

Cracked a bottle last night. I typically do not care for Darkness much at all (excluding last year's BA), but this years 'fresh' bottle was delicious. Easily my favorite since 2010

Shoreview Cub Liquor had approximately 1.5 cases as of 7pm, with no limit. $27.99 per though...

Down here in the Chicago 'burbs most of the Binny's stores received their shipments last week and sold it today for $21.99. Previous years it was 1 bottle limit for the 1-2 cases each store received but this year many stores had a two bottle limit due to 8-12 cases each store had.
Last year I was in town the week after Darkness Day and saw it from $16.79 at Costco up to $28 at other stores.
I'll be in town next week on business hoping to get some on tap - cheers to all of you great local guys in this thread!

Does anyone know if Bismarck is getting any? A friend of mine who lives there assumed they wouldn't get it, but he isn't savvy with the twitters.

Cheers Bloomington had it yesterday afternoon at 4:30, had an unmarked case at the counter - not sure if they had limits because I only wanted one. Think it was @$21.99 + tax (ended up $24 after, so shrug)

That's a little surprising, especially since their other location in Chanhassen charged around $28 and some change after tax.

Looks like Fleur and Mills Civic Hy-Vee's have their shipments of Darkness. Anyone know how much they're selling for? Heard that Global Brew Tap House in WDM was selling for a hefty $29 last night...

Oh man, with Darkness and Rum King sitting around and decreasing trade value, how am I supposed to land one can of NE hops now?

I guess I will have to just drink my Darkness and Rum King...
