Kind of bummed Goose Island isn't there again this year was thinking they might bring something good with all the migration week events they have been doing.

I was given a sample of Valve Jockey #3 a couple days ago, and it was quite nice. It was more along the lines of a big brown ale meets a malty APA. Go into it expecting a good malty beer with a solid hop backing, and you'll probably be happy. If you want it to be a full on barleywine you might be disappointed.

Not that there would be any doubt of long lines at Forager and Disgruntled but now that they've published the map layout, expect a shit show there. They stuck Forager in the back corner and Disgruntled is 4 booths away in the row of booths perpendicular to Forager. Unless they space them out better then what the map shows, Forager's line could block a series of booths and worst case, start bleeding into Disgruntled's.

My memory might be faulty, but I think I saw a few Blackstack crowlers in the cooler at F44. Don't remember the price, either...

I don't remember either having problematically long lines at All Pints North. Between the two of them, there is only one timed release listed in the program. I think it will be okay.

    At South Lyndale too

Pretty sure no Town Hall, Angry Inch, Lakeville. I'm sure there are more from the metro.

There are too many events for the nationals to show up to, especially when they have GABF in a few weeks. If they are shipping kegs to events, they are going there. In addition, are their sales slipping in this market, if so, this event isn't gonna gain them a ton of new fans.

First timer at this event. How is this? The lineup looks stacked! What should I expect in food/lines? Thanks guys!

Town Hall is for sure included. I do not see Angry Inch or Lakeville listed.

Look under Minneapolis Town Hall Brewery. The list is sorted alphabetically so they're falling under the "M's"

Agreed. I'm not worried about the lines at this event. The only time I've seen massive lines in the past have mainly been from booths like Goose with timed releases of vintage or variants of BCBS or Central Waters with Black Gold. I've been able to get Black Gold well after the lines died down the last two years, hopefully that streak continues! Quite the opposite vs. The Great Taste where people often wait for 30-45 minutes for those beers.

Surly, Lift Bridge, and Bent Paddle were all sporting their BA wares right by one another last year. Despite this, within the first hour or so, the wait was only 10-15 minutes max for Cherry? Darkness, BADSDB, or BA Silhouette. They really have done a good job managing the number of tents/beer availability vs. tickets sold each year.

No Bell's this year? Can that be right? If so, so sad - they really showed up in years past.

Oh BTW I found I had to uninstall and reinstall the app, rather than just update it. If it's glitchy, that might be why.

Huh. I was wondering if the list of beers would be updated. I also deleted and then re-downloaded the app, and I have new beers. I'll get the spreadsheet updated sometime today and post here once it's done.

Ok, it's been updated. I put the data into the same spreadsheet, so the same link should still work. If not, let me know.

It looks like 60 beers and a few breweries (such as Central Waters) were added, and a bunch of missing information, such as ABV for many beers, was updated.

Junkyard and Disgruntled were pretty much right across from each other at APN. Didn't seem like there were too many issues.

I also took advantage of those 2 being right across from one another numerous times. :sunglasses:

Nice to see someone giving 12welve Eyes love. I live a couple blocks from both Barrel Theory and 12welve Eyes, and all I hear about is Barrel Theory. I personally prefer Barrel Theory a little for nailing the Northeast and Berliner styles, but 12welve Eyes has a range that is impressive and does a very good job with most (not all) of those styles.

I know this might be a long shot, but had some luck on here last year. I already have 2 tickets and planning on going with the wife, but we have a friend from Spain staying with us that is available to go with us now and wants to come.

Anyone with an extra ticket they're looking to sell, I'd greatly appreciate it. Message me - thanks!

So.... we were looking at taking the Green Line down there tomorrow, but the wife said she heard something about it not running due to construction.

Anyone know if this is true?

    Just a portion of it:

Bigger problem might be everyone trying to leave that's heading south and west (via safe ride options, better not see any of you trying to drive home!)

Cigar City guy at APN told me that the MNCBG asked him to speak at a seminar and that allowed him to pour at the festival.
