2017 BCBS reserve tasting

    Had regular 2017 and reserve side by side tonight. Four people and blind for 3. I knew which was which. I honestly couldn't tell much of a difference. The other three preferred the regular over the reserve. Pretty interesting given reserve sold for approx $15 more. What is everyone else's opinion on reserve?

    The reserve is significantly better in my opinion, but that's just like... my opinion man.

    I enjoyed both, but liked reserve noticeably better. to me reserve tasted like a less harsh and oaky BCBS Rare

    Different takes on a beautiful beer. Depends what I am in the mood for.
