2017 Firestone Walker Parabola

Yea I think 6 months and it will smooth out.

 

I've had the last 6 vintages of Parabola. As someone who loves beer, I make it my business to find it if it's something I want. Online, locally, in other markets, etc. You have to go find it. That really applies for anything that is coveted. Parabola will mature with age and I've had it at different times and with different impressions of how it ages. I had this years the first week it was out, and probably 4-5 times since. I also have 8 12oz I will age and have over the next year or two. (found through many sources) The 12oz format is extremely appreciated and I hope more covert so people can try and not have to have 22oz of a 12-14% beer. You can still find online and in the NYC market, as well as multiple places nationally. No hating on anyone that can get great beer they are looking for and wants a bunch. If I had my choice, i'd drink parabola a bunch of days. Just sayin.

 

And yes, it started a bit hot this year, but I bet will develop as time passes, so get a few so you can see the change!

 

Just drank my first 2017 bottle last night. More viscous than I remember. Great mix of bourbon, coconut, vanilla and dark fruit and roast. really delicious.
