So for volunteering you get to pick which session you go for free? Is it general admission or early entry?

 

Volunteered last year, won't do it again for a few reasons. Also, got in after most/ all of general admission did.

Bad news: Same exact number of tickets being sold.

Good news: They have plans to improve traffic flow.

Bad news again: Everyone always has plans to improve traffic flow but the only plan that's going to improve the traffic at this festival is another room or three.

 

You get to go the last session. If you volunteer the last session, you get like another party or something. I've never done that one so I don't know.

The last session is always super light on volunteers though.

 

You will actually be the group that finds out first. They never release the list before the event as it is a competition. It always leaks shortly after the event starts on Friday.

 

I would love to hear your reasons? Its always been a very positive experience for us.

 

I thought Saturday night attended Friday night.

Plus, who doesn't need a 30 minute breather in 5 hours of 10%+ beers.

 

If that was the case what would stop the Saturday volunteers that go to the Friday session from just skipping out on the volunteer work for Sat? They would have already reaped the reward for their volunteer work.

 

Yeah I'm not sure what Saturday eve volunteers get now. In the past they got a kill the kegs party but based on that article I linked earlier it doesn't sound like that was a thing last year, and won't be moving forward. They give the beer back to the breweries.

 

I was under the impression that you were banned from all future Guild events as both a voluenteer and a patron. I could be wrong. I always work friday go saturday so im not positive.

 

How many tickets can one purchase at once? Apologies if this was answered already and TIA.

FYI for those asking about a beer list - breweries were just allowed to register beers today so no list even exists atm.

 

As a patron would be kinda tough to police/monitor.

 

The list once be released to the public until the doors open on Friday. If the judges have any advance knowledge/info, they don't want it coming from the organization.

 

Understood. The point being there isn't even a list at all right now, regardless of the rules for judges. People will have to be happy knowing it'll be amazing as always without the specifics for now.

 

So.... do they actually check ID's against the IMBiBE tickets as they state on the ticket page?

Long story, but my group ended up with a spare and I'd like to give it to a friend of mine

 

I bought a ticket off of Craigslist last year, and I'm pretty sure there was no transferring or anything, so I do not think that they check IDs.

Please correct me if I am wrong anyone.
