If anyone has a recommendation for a good chiropractor I am in need. You guys are tweaking my back and filling my fridge. This group of goodness comes from @johnyb. He hit some wants, some things that should be wants and some old favorites.

@TheManiacalOne landed today with a box of hops.

I appreciate the box and love beers from Trilium that I've had. But, I was curious as to the can dates. They range from 2-6 months old and I'm concerned about their quality. I do not expect "whales" but if sending pale ales or IPAs they should be relatively fresh. Again, I do appreciate the box and am thankful for this community and want to see that we continue to take care of each other.

@TheManiacalOne I'm curious as to your thoughts here. If you were on the receiving end of a box that contained six month old IPAs, is that acceptable to you? I hate asking this question from somebody who has helped the community with the vast amount of beer reviews you've done here on BA. However, I really thought you'd appreciate the value of freshness in hoppy beers more so than anybody given this?

 

I agree. I was excited about the beers when I opened his box and then disappointed when I saw the dates on all the cans. Fresh hops were one of the wants I listed, but I guess we have different definitions of fresh. They would have at least been a little more fresh if I got them right after the tourney ended instead of right at the deadline to ship.

 

Sorry, if the beers don't hold up, just let me know and I'll send another box.

Great box of hops arrived from @Woody1180 today and it was worth the wait. He contacted me about Trillium and I said I was fine waiting until he was able to make it there, so no worries about the wait!



and I used my wife's wine chiller after work so I could enjoy the DDH Melcher Street tonight! This was canned 6 days ago and is delicious!

 

Last but not least, @mtanoury74 blew up my porch yesterday...can't wait to try them all. Cheers!
