I would say it's the same thing, yes, because the value would still be better, though I wouldn't do it personally because the bar of entry is too high for me.

But hometown is still a fantastic lager. Its worth the price for fresh "german" lager brewed by Dan Carey. But it is still way to expensive for the price point you are correct 100%. I feel the same way about zwickel too.

 

Have you tried Allagash Coolship Resurgam? Many people forget how good Allagash is at brewing/blending wild ales and belgian beer styles especially for an American brewery.

 

I have and also still have a bottle or two at home, it is a great beer. I rated it only slightly below New Glarus Vintage.

 

Does anyone know if raspberry tart 4pks are all sold out in the Kenosha area?

 

Saw a ton of it a couple weeks ago at Mars Cheese castle. It might be there if you're willing to spend the mark-up $$ for it.

Yeah, their coffee stout was a huge disappointment to me, so I'm hesitant on this one too.

 

But it's also much more stout than previous NG Cherry Stouts. If you're into that bottle for a Cherry Tootsie Pop experience like 2009 or 2010, you may be slightly "disappointed." (It's still pretty tasty.)

 

Does anybody know if the Raspberry Tart four packs are gone for good or just waiting on resupply?

 

It'll be year round. 750's are gone for good.
