Really? They're selling these 4-packs for only $5-$6? Or are you looking at price per ounce? Either way I can understand the appeal then.

No, but you get 48 oz for $13 ($0.27/oz) as opposed to 26 oz for $10 ($0.38/oz)

I think it's the small format that is the real selling point. I almost never opened the big format bottles on my own, I'll definitely open a 12 oz bottle.

So, it comes down to personal preference, and the 4 pack has a little more bang for your buck. Fair enough, I can dig that.

Do you want to take down a bomber of Raspberry Tart solo or would you prefer a 12 oz bottle?

New Glarus doesn't do bombers. They are 750s.
    Bomber = 22 oz
    750 ml = 25.36 oz

Don't short those fruit 750s by 15% volume!

    :-)

Proves my point even more... those extra 3.36 oz's seal it for me

The 4 packs are such a better deal and to your point, 12 ozs is perfect serving size for that type of beer.

I like the 750's. Their fruit beers aren't something I want to drink super often, although amazing, because they're a bit too sweet. I like popping one open when friends are over or with the wife. That being said- I'd love both formats. I don't really care about 10 cents an ounce or whatever crap.

Someone should put up a survey on here. I'd agree with previous statements that I typically wouldn't drink that much in one sitting.

Raspberry Tart tastes the same out of 12oz as it did out of 750s but the new batch of Strawberry Rhubarb in 12oz was even better tasting than the previous large format version. Nothing to really do with bottle size, but it is relevant to why SR disappeared so fast despite not selling well when it was in 750s.

Sorry for the late reply, but I did ask. When I walked in I noticed the area that the R&D bottles were before was empty. Asked the girl at the desk if they had sold out and she said yes.

Anyone go to the depot and see what the"surprises" are that they posted about the other day?

Someone on their Instagram page said they're selling past R&D releases. Don't know if there is any truth in that.

Heard from a reliable source on Wednesday that they had pallets of Vintage '15 and '16, Pommier, Champ, and Golden Ale all at 2 per person.

Damn. I left a week early. Would've definitely spent that $150.

What did they charge per bottle?

Contradicted by the pallets of Vintage 2016 that was out on Wednesday...
