Right, I'm not arguing that. But if you're not getting a refund anyway, may as well drink it if it's drinkable. It sounds like most people were dumping it. I was just curious as to the flavor. A homebrewer friend of mine has had some sanitation issues with his gear, but has ended up producing a couple of damn fine unintentional sours.

Soo after reading everyones comments I thought I better go check the 2 cans that I have. Turns out they are pretty bulged on the top and rock hard. Guessing theres a bit of activity going on.

Rum king has drastically decreased in quality over the years. The original batch (maybe first two batches) was aged in appleton estate barrels (if I recall correctly) and now they source some cheap barrels and mass produce it. Barrels make a difference and even when fresh and non-infected the new batches are no where near as good as the first couple years. Sure it cost less in the cans vs the bombers, but cost is irrelevant when I can't even finish half a can. All that being said, my cans were definitely infected and I dumped them. These were 2016 cans, but it said on the bottom they can be cellared up to two years. That was a mistake. 2016 fresh was drinkable. 2017 fresh was a drain pour. Sorry I can't add anything to the 2017 infection issue, but based off 2016, I don't think rum king is meant to be aged
