Standard MB pricing in NH for SN 12-packs is $14.99 (but no bottle deposit!) , sale price is usually $12.99 which happens once/month in my experience. A few other shops always have SN 12s for $12.99 all the time tho - including The City in Plaistow.

Gary’s in Portsmouth used to be pretty consistent at the $12 price, but that may have changed at the new place. Total Wine is probably the cheapest around Boston but it’s a pain to get to for many of us. I’ll probably hit Wegmans for 12ers. Wish Martignettis was still going.

For anyone who really wants to save the dollar, Eastgate in Wilmington usually has SN twelve packs for $13.99 (and sometimes $12.99 but I can't specifically recall the last time I saw that price).

But when it's not a seasonal that you know just came out you *really* want to check the dates on everything there. As an extra bonus you can sometimes get checked out by the world's crankiest lady though.

    Glad to see this thread!!

I’m surprised that SN didn’t post more about their annual Celebration release party. I always lookout for that post. I usually get a couple kegs a year and countless 12 packs.

I do have a tradition that I wait till Nov 1st to have my first one of the Holiday Season!

^ Always my favorite discussion, we continue to forget adding the cinnamon every year.

Celebration bottle and draught start out with the same recipe in the brewhouse and fermentation. Draught version we will elevate the top pressure during cellaring to increase the CO2 content. It's then centrifuged and kegged... Bottled beer will come into filtration flat (2.0-2.2 v/v CO2) and we will back pitch yeast and sugar to bottle condition for 14 days, just like Pale Ale, Porter, Stout and Bigfoot Barleywine. All our heritage brands remain bottle conditioned from the beginning in the 1980's.

Side by side of Celebration bottle and draught will see more fruity notes from the bottle conditioning and slight higher hop aroma in the draught version... This being my opinion of course. Both remain my favorite beer we produce.

Finally starting to see some check-ins outside of the SN taproom. Hoping it hits shelves this week, seems to be a bit later than usual.

They're waiting to release the beer if the Red Sox with the World Series. It would be bad karma to prematurely release a beer called, "Celebration Ale".

Oh, I've done my part, and I wasn't even enamored with it this year. There are a couple mini kegs of Hofbrau still in the fridges though, I might have to muster my civic duty in disposing of those.

    Still love seeing that label.

Sam Adams, take note on how NOT to fuck up your holiday labels.
