    Keepin' it positive.

    Calgary.
Last Best Brewing had one of the best beers of the trip: Tokyo Drift IPA
Really liked The Dandy brewery Very solid sours.
Annex Ale Project also making some great beers.
The Cellar had and excellent bottle/can selection. Got a Dandy bottle there in addition to a nice Phillips (Vancouver) Brett IPA. It's along 8th Ave SW, a tourist walkway you should probably do. The Stephen Avenue Walk.
Zero Issue making some great beers. Nemesis IPA. Cool spot.
Trolley 5 has both great beer and great food. Just an exceptional spot.
MISC: Alforno Bakery - great bfast N pastries
Studio Bell - The Canadian Music History Museum - A must! A ton of hands on exhibits.

    Canmore
Grizzly Paw - very solid beers and really good food. If you have time after...
Canmore Brewing - again, very solid beers. Only stayed for one cuz of the smoke from wildfires. Gag.

    Jasper
Jasper Liquor Store (right next to Syrahs) A great, GREAT walk in beer cooler. Best beer selection of entire trip... in Jasper! There's even a beer dude to give suggestions.
Syrah's. Sort of expensive food but had 4 really good taps. Rotate, seemingly.
Downstream Lounge. Interesting food and some interesting beer bottle selections.
Jasper Brewing - very good food and a solid pilsner.
Drive to Folding Mountain Brewing - really good beer. Do the Sulphur Skyline hike. It'll kick your ass but is worth it.
MISC - if hiking our accidental discovery was valley of the 5 lakes. exceptional scenery.
Favorite spot in Jasper was Medicine Lake. Walk path to right and go around rocks.

    Banff
On way to Banff but more near Calgary we stopped at the Liquor Barn, near a Safeway I think. Great walk in beer cooler.
Fairmont Lake Louise had great nachos and a top notch beer selection. Drank way too much of Parallel 49 (Vancouver) Filthy Dirty IPA. Very, very good IPA. Sit with the riff-raff on the patio like we were forced to do.
Park Distillery - in addition to quality Gin they had a very good tap selection. Always crazy busy.
High Rollers - by far THE discovery of the trip. Best tap selection of entire trip. Driftwood Fat Tug IPA is awesome. Happy hour makes it crazy cheap. Cool, cool little place.
MISC most beautiful hiking spot was Emerald Lake in Yoho. Yoho worth a separate trip. Eat at Truffle Pigs. They had some quality Phillips on tap.
St. James Irish Pub had awesome fish N chips and they poured a good pint.
Do Sunshine Village. Take the gondola and chairlift to a fun hike. Busy.
