Anyone aware of any stores in the Twin Cities where the Surly Darkness variants (e.g., Bourbon Cherry, Rum Vanilla, etc.) can be purchased? Surly said the variants would only be released at the Darkness Day event, but I am wondering if any bottles managed to find their way to any store shelves. Long-shot, I know, but I thought it worth asking. Thanks.
Not for sale anywhere and I wouldn't expect them to be. You'll likely see some for sale at the brewery for onsite consumption only.
This year's variant bottles are available at the brewery for onsite consumption, today. All for the low price of $60 a bottle.
I really liked the fernet pours I had at Darkness Day @ $5 per. I don't think I would want a whole bottle, though. Especially at that price.
