So I'm at the Seven Stills Outer Sunset Taproom, for the Bottle Logic tap takeover. Not many people here. In 5 minutes, they're giving away pours of Darkstar November and Red Eye November (from magnums) to anyone who has purchased a BL beer.

I'm all about SFBW, but I love ditching the crowds.

Similar social media posts from stores all over the Bay Area, so safe to say it’s a drop for beer week

Per IBU, distributors have requested that all Heady be consumed onsite and Focal can be to go. Nice to see distro of it though

Yeah especially dumb since last year, we got a can-drop of Crusher, Heady Topper, and Focal Banger no problem.

Flying up to SFO tomorrow for SF Beer Week. I'm planning to stop at Cellermaker House of Pizza before making my way back to SFO for my flight back home. What should I hit up before Cellermaker? Thinking about Toronados, but I've been there a few times already. Prefer close by Cellermaker as time is limited. Cheers.

If you're going to CM HoP, then drop by Old Devil Moon - a craft beer bar hosting a bunch of SFBW events a couple blocks away.

Barebottle Brewery, holy water (bar) and healthy spirits (botttle shop) are nearby on Cortland. Going the other way on mission is the crafty fox which opens early, 12pm.

    @dcgunman

Actually to be more specific at ODM, Saturday is a Sante Adairius tap takeover and Sunday is a $5 kick the kegs type of event.

Good to know. I'm not sticking around for Sunday. Fly in & out Saturday. The SA tap take over will do. Thanks.

Well, another solid SF Beer Week in the books! I didn't get a chance to hit up any of the Stout events I was hoping to, focusing mainly on hop focused events. Best event for me was probably the CBS Hazy IPA day, not just due to his stuff on tap, but also the great cans selection I walked away with

    My personal SFBW Awards:

Best Canned Release Overall: DDH Pulp (thanks @dframmy !)

    Best Local Can: DDH Pulp
Best Socal Can: Pure Project Diamond Dust
Best Non-CA Can: Finback Rolling in Clouds
Best Overall Draft (of a "New to me" beer): Monkish Glamour Glitters Gold
Best NorCal Draft: Humble Sea Kermit the Fog
    Best Socal Draft: Monkish GGG
Best Non-CA Draft: Great Notion Ripe

Most Disappointing Can: Alchemist Heady Topper (probably a mistake to have this during the Hazy IPA fest, but hey, it wasn't my choice to have it for in house consumption only lol. Came across as malty and just decent).

Most Disappointing draft: GRIMM. These weren't bad IPAs by any means, but based on the hype and ratings I expected way more.
