I know, I know. Its July 9th, 105 degrees outside (at least where I live), and not even close to Fall. But whether you like it or not, the fall seasonals have begun to hit the shelves. I've only seen one so far, but being a fan of anything Oktoberfest, I grabbed it. This year, the first I've seen is Shiner's Oktoberfest. Not the best, but I'll take it. I've also heard that Altstadt and Rarh & Sons have released their Oktoberfests, but are waiting for the distributors to place them on shelves. Its hard to imagine the fall beer scene (thanks Covid-19) as being festive this year, but at least we can still enjoy these beers at home. What fall seasonals are you looking forward to? Prost!!

Always look forward to märzens, favorite style easily. I enjoy Rahr's Oktoberfest but I'm looking forward to Ayinger the most. Their previous few years weren't my favorite but I'm hoping they have a return to form.

I think Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest is also preparing to go out based on their release calendar but we'll see if it actually makes it before the end of July.

I was told, via Facebook Messanger, from Sierra Nevada, that they haven’t even brewed it yet. I was hoping it’d be out this month, but if that’s true, we won’t see it until at least August.

Oh jeez, leaving it late this year. I usually don't expect any Oktoberfests to roll in until mid-August anyhow but that's a letdown considering I'm pining for a variety of stateside ones at the moment.

Thanks, you might consider posting it in the main forum’s “Sierra Nevada 2020 Oktoberfest Collaboration” thread. Good info for us oktoberfest beer fans.

Just as a heads up, Rahr & Sons had a Facebook post on July 7th that their Oktoberfest is canned and will be showing up some time this week. I'll be taking a run through Total Wine to check it out at some point.

So I saw that Paulaner Oktoberfest Bier (formerly Weis'n) has now hit the shelves at a few select places. I grabbed a couple six packs of it at Central Market. I wasn't sure if it was the same beer until I researched it, and found the name had been changed according to the Paulaner website. Definitely one, if not my favorite, of the Festbier style Oktoberfests!

Glad to see it back this early! I'm actually finishing off my last Paulaner Marzen at the moment so I'll have to take a run by and pick up that up. I prefer the marzens for the most part but Paulaner's festbier is good enough to make me pick up a six pack.

Haven't seen any local Oktoberfests on the shelves as of yesterday. I'll probably make the rounds again mid-week to see if Rahr has hit the shelves.

I haven’t seen any further releases yet, but I’ve seen posts from both Real Ale and Southern Star that they’re releasing their Oktoberfest this week. Cibolo Creek Brewing also has their Oktoberfest on tap.

I think Legal Draft's Lawktoberfest will be coming out in August.

Finally found Rahr on the shelves. Only other Texas Märzen I saw was an extremely out of date Oak Highlands Oktoberfest from 2019.

So even though they’ve now cancelled every Oktoberfest celebration this season, I’m still excited to see more fall seasonals hit the shelves. Real Ale Oktoberfest just hit the shelves in the San Antonio area, along with Sam Adams Octoberfest.

I picked up Southern Star Oktoberfest today and just finished the first one now. Won’t be buying anymore of this one.

Went to the store and picked up some non-Texas beers yesterday. Saw Southern Star Oktoberfest is on the shelf (which I don't care for), Rahr and Bitter Sisters Hissy Fit Marzen which is just ok. Still a bit early for some of the other Oktoberfests being that we're just now to the end of July but I'm hoping Real Ale makes its way to shelves here soon.

I had the Real Ale o-fest this week and it is excellent as usual. Definitely worth waiting for it rather than the others ones you mentioned.

The last couple of years I didn't see Real Ale Oktoberfest until the end of the season but it was always a favorite of mine.

I've been enjoying my first Oktoberfest of the year. I bought the Rahr yesterday.
Rahr also released a barrel aged Oktoberfest but I don't know how easy it's going to be to get (I'm not thing to get any because i don't care for barrel aged beers)

After a hell of a hunt, I finally found one of the white whales. First batch of this year's Ayinger I've seen anywhere in DFW.
