    Yep, I'm in! Thanks @swenny916 !

First team to score a 33 yard TD gets a box.

Welcome back! Just to clarify, are we doing an exact 33 yard TD?

Yes, exactly 33. For NFL33!! Get it? Hahaha!!!

Edit: This looks a little crazy but I'm blaming it on the pandemic.

So here's where we are sitting, and I wanted to get some thoughts. After adding @sblickem and @cosmo4u and @bstoos we have 17. My plan late last week, which I wish I would have sent earlier but have been away, would have been we stop at 16, everyone gets one team in both AFC and NFC, and 33 would get four boxes instead of 8. That would put @bstoos as the first on the waitlist and if we get a few more involved, I think we could make something work. Thoughts? Would anyone be out if everyone has two teams, but the payouts are half?

Since I'm still in the owing category put me at 1st on the wait list. I'm sure we will have a few rounds of this. I can jump in then.

That works. If anyone wants out with the plan of everyone getting two teams, let me know by tomorrow at noon. I’ll draw teams and groups tomorrow night. If anyone else wants in, please still post. There could be a round two. I’ll also write up some rules in case the season gets cut short.

I'm down for that. Would the payoffs be half in ounces or half as many boxes?

To clarify, there would be an AFC and NFC group (4 players each) running at the same time and if someone hits 33, they would get a box from the other 3 in their group?

@swenny916 would I balance this out or offset? Not quite sure how the waitlist works?

There would be half the number of boxes. Basically each group would have four senders instead of eight like in the past. We'd still send the same amount in the boxes.

And yep, everyone would have one AFC and NFC team. When a team hits, it would trigger the first group. Whoever has the team that hits 33 would get the four boxes (or three if they are in the sending group).

Let me know if that's not clear.

And here are updated 2020 only rules. Thanks again @Theredflame2 for all your work in the past and for making these rules so easy to follow. Definitely feel free to take it back next year if you want.

I will randomly draw names and assign teams. I'm going to have my one year old help draw randomly since I didn't get to use her for March Madness...I'll have AFC and NFC in separate pots so everyone will get one from each conference. Someone may get two high scoring or low scoring teams, but it's so hard to do a top and bottom tier before the season starts so this seems the fairest.

    Object:
If either of your two teams scores 33 points in a game, win or lose, you win!

I will break up the participants in 4 groups of 4. This is for shipping purposes only, anyone wins if their team hits 33 at any time.

The first 4 picked start at week 1. (Unlucky group 1) if someone hits in weeks 1-4, this group ships beer.

Once someone hits, or we get to week 5, then group 2 starts. If no one hits, group 1 and 2 ship, so now it's 8 boxes of beer! If 33 is not hit, every 4 weeks the next group is added. The first one to hit 33 gets boxes from everyone on the clock. COVID specific rule: if the season ends at anytime, the remaining people that haven't shipped will split their boxes to any previous winner(s).

When 33 is hit, everyone already on the clock ships. The next group is on the clock and we start the 4 week clock over.

Last year, we went through the 4 groups two times. No one is required to go the second round, we will hopefully add more and make it even more fun!

    So in a nutshell:
    1. 44oz good quality beer
    2. Two Random Drawn NFL Teams
    3. Team needs to score 33pts final score win or lose
    4. Random drawn senders in groups of 4
    5. 2 or more winners hit they split whatever box total is up for grabs.
    6. No gaps in beer sending schedule! If some one hits early the next group is up.
    7. If all 4 groups give beer out, we will decide a way to proceed. Either start over the same way, or ??? We will cross that bridge when we get there. No one is required to play twice.
    8. If you are a sender and you hit you still get the total number of boxes minus your own. Example you hit week 4, you get the other 3 boxes.
    9. Group of 4 will rollover into the next group of 4 if no hits occur.
    10. Side LIFs are highly encouraged. What is that you ask? Well, make up something and ship beer if it happens. Check past years for examples. I'll be doing one, but haven't decided what yet.
    11. Shipping is expected within 30 days. If not, strong communication is needed.

All this might look complicated but it's not. I will post the teams and sending order tomorrow night. I will answer any questions on here or beermail.
