If you follow Sierra Nevada on Instagram, I’m going to assume you also texted all of your beer friends “Hell yeah!!!!” when you saw the red caps and bottles moving down the line on Friday.

Celebration usually hits shelves around MA in the last week of October, so let’s hope that everyone drank as much Oktoberfest as they could to clear some space.

If you see bottles, let us know where and in what format. I’m a 12-pack drinker for this beer but 6ers usually hit first.

    Cheers!!

Let’s hope we are drinking it on Halloween.

Woooooo! Super exited! I usually get a keg or two and whatever 12 packs I can find. I do like comparing Celebration on tap vs in bottle. Celebration will be more welcomed then ever and I usually take a Lil trip to Yankee Spirits to get a 12 pack, it’s a nice scenic ride for me. I already started to watch for Untapped check ins, and everything recent has been 2019 so no 2020’s out there yet. I can’t wait to crack one on November 1st, as is my tradition.

I remember thinking last year's batch tasted particularly great to me - hoping it continues this year.

Same. Probably all in my head, but I was telling everyone that it was the best batch in years.

Some kind of biorhythm has kicked in for me and I'm on a total Sierra Nevada kick. As I'm sure I said in threads of the past, I started drinking Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (and Anchor Steam) in the parking lot of Dead Shows years ago, and it's never left my heart. So I've been buying sixers of new stuff as they come out, and revisiting old stuff. The Octoberfest this year, I thought, was better than any of the German collabs of years past. The Dankful was OK - good and solid. Can't wait for Celebration. Think after that I'll go for an old favorite - Torpedo. Hoptimum is also an old favorite, but I don't know if they still make that. Anyway, cheers to all for a happy Fall!

I agree, the carb was really dialed in last year. Had a creamier feel than normal.

Do you prefer the keg or the bottle? I’m not sure if I’ve ever had it on draft. I do not get out very much.

Dude, the first pour last year was one of the fluffiest heads I can remember on any beer. Thing of beauty.

i heard it is double dry hopped this year and has a lactose treatment.... kidding of course. i have about 10 bottles of octoberfests left, so celebration on november 1st sounds good to me as well. and yeah, i would be be a happy with a version like last year; it definitely was stellar.

I feel ya brotha, love me some Celebration. Do you devour the Cool Ranch Doritos and wash it down with Celebration? Ha, ha....

    Cheers

I don’t know if it’s the difference in carbonation between the keg or bottle conditioned but on tap I feel it’s smoother. The bottle has slightly more carbonation but that could all be in my head.

I agree with this. Surprisingly I like the draft version with a bit of age on it (I know, counter-intuitive), the dank and pine come out a bit more with age. There's a bar near me that usually throws SNCA draft on around xmas and it's great - and yes the owner's a big fan of the beer.
