21 amendment in il 3/30/15

I'll try to say this in the nicest possible way ... do we really need more mediocre IPAs on the shelves here? From a consumer standpoint, I just don't care. Nothing I have had from 21st has impressed me very much. From Binny's standpoint, sure I agree - they need to carry just about everything. To each his own, and it's cool that you're excited about it, because you obviously like the brewery. This feels like another Sweetwater - which, don't get me wrong, is far from a bad brewery, but they're not shipping anything mind-blowing here. They had a 2-foot space on the bottom shelf at Binnys Highland Park when I was there today.

We have so much good local stuff, it's hard to get excited about a new arrival from far away with lesser-quality options.

 

Brew Free or Die is pretty bad but Back in Black is one of the best black IPAs I've ever had.

 

Yep. We're spoiled rotten here.

I don't know, it is nice to always see new stuff. Let the market decide if its worth it for the stores to continue carrying it. I hope they have a sampler pack upon arrival
