I started a thread a while back about suggestions for oyster stouts I have been asking regular trading partners to keep a look out for this beer for me with no results. As stated in my thread about the subject I want it as a gift for my friends father. So here are my questions:

Is this still brewed or was it a one off? (I already saw what it said on this site but its not always accurate)
Will it be canned/brewed again in the future? (I would accept growlers if it was tap only)
If not, is it worth it to try to get any from someone who may have saved it?

Was probably gonna offer some new glarus and other locals for it if I do trade.

    Thanks for any help guys.

    Cheers!

I did see this in the article.

"For many years, we have been heading over to Hog Island for lunch and we always bring a few empty pails to collect shells and brine that we use to brew oyster stout at our pub. They seemed like a natural fit when it came time to decide on our 2012 collaboration."

Maybe they have a similar oyster stout at the brewery or as draft only which I would be happy with.

People seem to still be (semi-)actively checking into it... I could have swore I just saw it at one of my local shops, but didn't think anything of it. If I happen upon it again I will shoot you a message!

That would be awesome have tons of New Glarus to send in return.

I have an unopened 4 pack. You can have it. All you need to do is figure out a way for me to get it to you without me having to pack it up and ship it, which would literally be more than the beer cost.
Do you have any trading partners in the Philly area that I can hand it off too and they can throw in the next box coming your way ?
