Coming from IN, I've got about 24 hrs in STL for the Madagascar release coming up. Looking for rec's from locals about can't miss food, breweries, specific beers, stores, etc. On my radar I've got Scratch, White Rooster, SP, Narrow Gauge, Perennial. Also what kind of a zoo should I expect at 4 hands for the release? Any and all tips are appreciated. Cheers
Glad to see Scratch and White Rooster on your list. Scratch has a ton of bottles for sale right now. I suggest the Basil IPA, Blackberry Lavender, and the gift pack. Pick up some White Rooster BA sour bottles too, those are their best beers. In STL, hit up Craft Beer Cellar in Clayton and Wine and Cheese Place nearby. I enjoy Schlafly for food and a traditional style, no frills beer to go with it. Pappy's and Pi are my favorite places to eat (we have kids so they're kid friendly but I still go without them), and if you're at Craft Beer Cellar there's a very good deli next door. I've never been to a Madagascar release but I hear they're nuts. Seems like production is more plentiful every year so hopefully they'll have plenty to go around.
