I know I've seen several threads on the best & worst of beer labels. So I thought some might find this link interesting. http://www.thedieline.com/blog/2013/7/3/25-creative-craft-beer-packages.html Some very cool designs, although I didn't look up if the beers were any good.
i am a sucker for beers in a uniquely shaped bottle. Seems like many of the Italian breweries use "non-standard" bottles.
The Birradamare 'Na Biretta Nera bottle is simple but wonderful (and so is the graphic design). Love that Kozel can in the link.
Yeah there's a couple of catchy labels and bottle shapes among these. But like the old saying goes - you can't judge a book by its cover.
I'm oddly attracted to beer in boxes. I mean the Firestone Walker beers like Sucaba, Parabola, Double DBA....they just look sexy on the shelf (the few times I've actually seen them on a shelf). If I knew nothing about beer I'd gravitate towards them. I'm a fan of different/unique packaging, but that only gets you so far. The quality of your contents has to match your snazzy exterior.
Hm, wow, I hadn't heard of most of those beers. Ones that come to my mind are Orval, Surly, and Crooked Stave.
My favorite as well... Some more pics here: http://www.ohbeautifulbeer.com/2012/11/velkopopovicky-kozel/ actually i think they might of gotten all those pics from this site.
