It's always lasted a few days and not everyone is in to barley wines so I think it'll last until Saturday at least but who knows how much they put aside to sell onsite

He was referring to ZD, which often sells out the day of release at the shop.

They need to stop messing with BA Behemoth and brew more BA Owde Engwish. That's their best barrel aged beer of all time IMO.

I REALLY liked '12 Cognac Moloko. That beer was a beast.

    Couple questions:
    1. Why does Behemoth get the waxing treatment if it's not barrel-aged?
    2. Is this eventually distributed to stores like some of their other specialty/seasonal releases?

Behemoth has always been waxed and in regular 22oz bottles. And yes, it does hit full distribution, however limited amounts.

I also think they started waxing it because it always has carried a higher price point, thus wax differentiates it as a premium product. Also, Behemoth is one of the 3 Floyd's beers that ages like a champ, so wax is good for preventing oxidation.

Sorry man zombie is gone from the online to go list already. I've never seen it survive a Thursday release. Sometimes Monday/Tuesday...,

Yeah I'd imagine more people than usual were drawn in my Behemoth and it's basically a requirement that you buy a 6pk or case or 2 of ZD when you're there if they have it. I love the hand written "NO ZOMBIE DUST" sign on their take out door when they don't have it just to stop every single person from asking when they walk in there...

Stopping there for the first time on Monday afternoon. Any locals tell me what to expect and what might be available?

Your best bet is to check their Beers To Go Menu => http://www.3floyds.com/beers-to-go/

It's smaller than you'd expect. There's a to-go kiosk off to the left of the building with its own door, on monday afternoon I'd be surprised if there's a line (unless they release BA Behemoth that morning or something like that, then all bets are off since nobody seems to work anymore).

The bar itself is relatively small but theres plenty of seating if you prefer to not sit at the bar. Theres always some sort of heavy/death metal playing and generally something weird on their TVs like a horror movie or something.

They've got chalk boards to tell you whats available and its usually a great list (menus too but they're often inaccurate). I've been there 6+ times in the past year and the people that work there are always great. They're all the heavily tattooed, pierced, people you'd expect from FFF's image but they couldn't care less that I'm not. Their food is very good but sometime there are some misses in there, I usually just stick with their burgers. If they have fried pickles don't miss those! =)

I love it there so I hope you have a great time and get some great beer!
