3 Floyds Brewing (2019)

I thought about Pride & Joy not that long ago while at 3Floyds, and how I’ve missed their nice and easy drinking session/pale ale (I’m not a fan of Yum Yum). I’d pick this up if I saw it on shelves somewhere but I don’t think they distribute that format of bottles (yet).

 

I too miss pride and joy. Especially on draft, as Yum Yum definitely seems to have replaced those taps.

I still ride for Alpha and Gumbahead, but it was always nice to see the Floyd’s tap handle and be excited because you knows it was gonna be a good beer.

Now, it’s such a bummer to find out the tap handle is for yum yum.

 

Pride and joy was one of the first beers that helped get me into the craft game way back when

Oddly enough, same for me. For that reason, still a very special beer for me whenever it is released.

 

Did anyone try the BBA Moloko yet (assuming it's on tap)?

 

You created it. It was exactly the same as this thread. What was the reason for it being deleted?

 

My local store already got Behemoth and it hasn't been released at the pub yet. Wax is purple

 

I’m guessing it’s because this one was started weeks before his which is the same reason multiple other duplicate threads were deleted for other breweries. The first one created is the one left standing/open.

 

Correct. I didn’t realize this one existed.

 

i posted on the old thread and it got locked and then deleted, but the BA Moloko bottles look to have silver (2018) wax. think they were bottled in late 2018 and just recently released? Floyds is usually pretty on top of switching wax colors every year.

 

Is it just me or is Three Floyds one of the few brewers actually reducing prices? The last two BA beers I purchased were $40. Today, BA Moloko is $20 and Blot out the Sun is $30. BA Moloko is a steal considering what we are seeing other brewers charge. I could have sworn it was $25 last year. Throw on top no sales tax, no lines and this continues to be my favorite brewery even with an hour drive.

Fyi, I went to make my first trip to 18th St. Brewery just to pick up some to go offerings and their hours on their website are completely off. Just want to prevent anyone else from wasting their time; call first.
