In a year or so will it really be putting people in danger? What's gonna happen to all the brewpub only stuff? Cans? More stuff at local bars? I rarely see Floyd's on draft anywhere with the exception of the one bar conveniently located within walking distance with draft zombie dust. But most of the time you're better off just bringing it home. Would the town of Munster frown on having a picnic in the park with a bunch of beer?

 

That's how I'm pranking anyone who's never had dark lord at dld if they ever have one again. Just Guinness with a shot of malort. Tell everyone in front of me in line that that's what it tastes like this year and watch it clear out. Fuck why am I sharing this genius idea?

 

Exactly. It wasn't bundled with the shirt when it first came on. It was FFF Distilling Busthead Aquavit aged in barrels ($100= pass, actually aquavit = pass). It was not a DL variant. I was merely implying that FFF Distilling has empty barrels of aquavit, it is extremely likely that DL winds up in one of them as a 2020 or 2021 variant.

 

I was browsing their curbside pick-up options and it was on there. An hour later it was not. That happened with the Barrel aged whiskey (and Bobby Goes Camping) when it first came out and everyone assumed it sold out in an hour, but then it was re-listed a few days later and remained for a week. Perhaps they put it up and remove it quickly to drive hype and scarcity...

 

Yeah, because Munster closed the calumet interstate exit in that direction and also put giant concrete blocks across calumet blocking any vehicles from getting in or out. This is turning into marshal law...least fff could do is release dL variants for those of us trapped inside.

 

I’d like to see the Hampton Inn host the bottle release just for everything to come back full circle

New FFF growler fill: "Twinkie Throne Lies Empty - An Xperimental Blonde Stout brewed in our Stone Tanks and dosed with a massive amount of Ethiopian light roast coffee.

Very aromatic and malty ale with fruity overtones of hand selected coffee all underlined with a strong minerality from the extended lagering on stone.

ABV 9.5% IBU 82"

 

Any update on DL bottles?

 

The pallet fell off the forklift as they were taking them out of storage. All bottles broke and now the whole brewery smells like soy sauce.

 

I wish this thread would burn down.

 

Classic Floyds...Tell people they are going to release a massive amount of DL variants then announce they are closing before they can do so.

 

Surprised this has not been posted ... I heard that they are selling Dark Lord under the name “Hand Sanitizer” on the curbside pickup page. I was told that it is drinking good this year.

 

I was wondering why my hands were stained black and smelled of vanilla bourbon...
