Are these leftovers from 2020? I was wondering why the ones on the site have pink sparkle wax.

I bought one from the Brewpub in January 2020, and it was added to the database here in December 2019.

It definitely looks exactly the same as the bottles they released back then, so I'm assuming it's the same ones and not a new batch.

Called FFF and they confirmed these bottles are 2019 vintage. I still plan to pick some up.

As someone who has had it before how do you think it will have aged?

The employee I spoke with said they tapped a keg of 13 Hands and it was a complete mess. The master brewer and (presumably) kiosk crew opened some of these bottles and really liked where it is now and said the grape really shines.

Personally, I worry the extra aging has made it too acidic for my liking. I plan to grab a bottle later today and will open this week and share my thoughts.

I opened a bottle of 13 Hands last night and it was quite good! Slightly more acidic than I remembered but not overpowering, and the color was darker (rich copper instead of darker golden...if that makes sense). And I agree with what FFF said about a more grape-forward flavor. Overall I enjoyed it and hope to get back for a couple more bottles.

Just had a 2021 CTM and damn this fresh is awesome, might like it more than handjee. I had the 2019 last year as one of my variants from the cellar sale and the peppercorn faded some, but this time it’s prominent. Super happy from my DL draw

Chemtrial mix. Thought that was a well know DL acronym. My apologies

It is clearly not as well known as GTM (Greatest Teachable Moments)

Considering the '21 Handjee I opened on NYE was fantastic, this makes me even more excited about having a '21 Chemtrail too.

I was not impressed with ‘21 CMT. Too sweet. Lacked barrel. I’ve had 2 or 3 other vintages and this was the worst for me.

If this is the same base as Crushing Mass, I am very excited (as long as the maple isn't overpowering).

same here, hoping for similar chocolate and bourbon notes and more coconut than maple.

Nailed it. I wouldn't even think about buying this Cocomungo if Crushing Mass wasn't so terrific. If it is $25 at distro like the other BA 4pks have been, I'll jump.

Base tastes like crushing mass without the coffee. When cold, Cocomungo tastes prominently like coconut and maple and booze, but missing the well rounded flavor. When warm it drinks like a nice sweet stout, but loses all the unique distinguishable coconut and maple flavor. Is it good? 12oz down of a high abv beer and I'm actually feeling like cracking open another, but won't. Crushing Mass took me a few bottles to appreciate how good it was. Hopefully this one moves closer to a high rating as I crack more. Right now it is a solid barrel age stout, but not a world class one (which the last mind blowing beer I had was Kane's Double Double Cask)

Cocomungo is pretty darn good! Great toasted coconut flavor and only get more of the maple as it warmed up. Some heat from the high abv. Overall a solid beer.
