Seems a bit early for Dark Lord Tickets. I think they are announcing a fire.

    Let's hope it's DLD.

The only other thing I'd be as excited about is brewpub opening back up.

Agreed. I just took a road trip with wife and kids to Atlanta and we would ALWAYS stop at the FFF brewpub for food and drinks on the way back. We both looked at the Calumet exit ramp with sadness as we passed.

That being said, I would be just as happy to see in person DLD back.

The kiosk staff says the distillery taproom will re-open as the defacto FFF tap room at some point, but they won’t be reopening the brewpub.

Curious...seems too early for DLD, unless they unlearned their lessons from all our pain. Maybe new brewpub?

Edit: oops sorry for some reason I didn't see the responses already guessing that.

Although, I can't help but notice the FFF and 3F, almost like they're trolling us.

If the post were about DLD, my suspicion is that the DLD website would have changed in some way.

Has anyone tried their Gumballhead Whiskey yet? Looks a little pricey but I'm curious how it is...

I can confirm that this is the correct answer - definitely a promo for Speed Castle, which is their new year-round lager. Named for the combo Speedway - White Castle on the corner of 45th & Calumet that the brewery staff frequent quite often.

They bottled it yesterday and it will be released on 3/1/22.

Well shit. All of the sudden I want a crave case and cheap gas. BRB.

Really not a bad consolation prize to all the guessing. I thought that 3Floyds lager-game and more traditional German and European styles have been good-to-great for years now.

It is so hard to figure out what FFF's plan is going forward. Possibly just content to be a production brewery and pump out their staples? I'm not complaining as this is the holy grail of Midwest craft breweries, but it has been eye opening to see them shift directions over the last couple of years.
