Can you share more about this? I just asked the group of friends I went with and one of them definitely has a Rrari.

 

I contacted Floyd’s through the contact form a while back. They said that most bottles wouldn’t be infected. You can take it to their kiosk if you get an infected bottle and they’ll replace it.

A collaboration with our friends at Binny's Beverage Depot, this imperial stout was aged first for a year in hand-selected bourbon barrels, then finished in 3 Floyds Bubblegumhead whiskey barrels. So nice, we aged it twice.

 

Almost December so that new FFF vanilla stout should be out soon.

 

Trolls, Trolls, Trolls (BA vanilla stout) is now available. Limited distro.

 

Been looking for a nice BA vanilla stout lately and haven't seen much, will probably pick it up.

Anyone tried it yet?

 

It was sitting on my counter last night to warm up from fridge temp, but went back in the fridge unopened due to my kid having a borderline ER (Emergency Room not Eagle Rare for those still in Black Friday mode) visit fever. Luckily things are trending in the right direction for a review tonight.

 

Trollsx3. Like a retro ba vanilla stout throwback to the days when BCBS Vanilla was king. Getting bitter and dry barrel tannins, slight bourbon, and vanilla for days. Goes down easily and very drinkable. Is it thick and chewy and syrupy enough for the extremists? No, but is a dang good beer for a dang good price. Close my eyes and sip at this at I could be at a 2010 bottle share having OG vanilla or Black Note.

 

I respect every word in this and I haven’t tried it yet. Also, Trollsx3 is an excellent new acronym.

 

Trollsx3 is an excellent nickname for the average BA user.

 

Has anyone seen Trollsx3 at Binny's yet?

Also, @HouseofWortship glad the kid is doing better. That shit is scary. Always feels good to settle in at home the next night with a stiff beer after a panic night like that.

 

Dropped at Open Bottle Lockport today.

 

It was sold out when I popped in today to try to grab a single. Will keep on the lookout

 

Having Trollsx3 now. Very enjoyable. Not Crushing Mass level, but not vanilla overload either, which I appreciate. Excellent for the price.

I love that opener. I believe @Sabtos was sporting the same one at DLD. I know I asked him about it, but those details are...well, dark - that's the next phase after "hazy." Is that opener an oldie? I'd love to get one, but a little poking around back in May yielded no info I could find.

@flat_lander, I have 2 of the single battle axe openers and 1 of the Double battle axe opener still from DLD 2015 or 2016( cant remember) I'll give you one next time we meet up just remind me before hand.

 

For anyone who knows him or has traded with him, classic @Jinx989 move. You probably told me this at DLD but I was too deep in my fried vegetable basket.

 

Haha yeah memory is hazy here too but definitely think I ordered it from their online shop after seeing it at DLD '16, maybe...? Love how many BAs my axe has serviced, gets around me than me
