Me and my homie made a little Chicago trip for the night. Apocalypse Cow is in the kiosk.. canned 1/8 and hasn't been posted on socials yet. Got the retro Alpha King pack out of respect. Bottled 1/2 Alpha Kong is coming. Quaanto coming to cans.
Some nice forthcoming releases there. Apocalypse Cow, War Mullet,... the list goes on. Would liked to have seen Live A Rich Life. Looking forward to revisiting some of these beers.
Rye da’ Tiger seems like the only one off they are bringing back which is quite disappointing…everything else seems like seasonals they hade for a few years or more and killed off because they weren’t moving.
I feel this. But like anything else, we dont know where they're coming from. Like when your fav band does a reunion tour or a throwback type of show you think "surely they'll play this.." and they dont. What the fans want and what the artists like to play dont always mesh. We see it as "these beers/songs weren't amazing but they were cool and we want them" while they they might see it as "this is fun to play and its what we represent even if its not appreciated." Also you gotta think like 5 different anniversary beers have already dropped.. not every one of them is on that beer calendar. We're probably gonna get some surprises. I agree with you though. On the surface I'd want something that makes you feel like you're sitting at the pub again staring at a Homer Simpson figurine. I just dont think these releases are close to being fully disclosed.
Which 5? Looks like they put out the beer calendar which has the few they put out before they had updated the calendars. The only surprises look to be whatever they put out as a surprise in the kiosk only 16 oz bottle like they did with Quaanto. Every other format is on the calendar.
I meant that as "what we're getting the rest of the year isnt necessarily on there yet..." They're not gonna show their hand. We're 1 month into the year and we've gotten 5 beers. And yes thus far they're on their website, you're correct. But Alpha Kong is confirmed and its not on their website. Just enjoy the ride and see what happens. They listed Rye'd da Tiger. They didn't list Alpha Kong and those are both coming. I trust these fools to do things well.
New Edition’s to the 2026 beer list! Toward the end, there are 8 Surprise MFers in 500 ml bottles. Apparently, these are kiosk only releases. I love the fact that they’re doing this. Let the speculation begin. How about some Moloko? Ham on Rye?
