3 Floyd's hits Casanova's.

Was told there was some change with the distributor resulting in WI getting much more 3F now and in the near future. Wonder what happened?

 

I didn't see Gorch or Munsterfest when I was there at around 3:30. Bought the last Alpha Klaus. Plenty of Dreadnaught, Broo Doo, and Arctic Panzer Wolf.

 

They didn't have them as part of the display, but there were multiple cases of both of those on the floor when I was there this afternoon.

 

Dammit, missed em.

 

Up until fairly recently (maybe a year ago?) they did. But then FFF stopped distributing to western Wisconsin, and it dried up. Just had a chat with some Casanova folks about this in December, and at the time they thought prospects were slim for getting it again any time soon.

I'm very happy to hear that it's back. Might have to head out there this evening. Anyone checked that other Hudson liquor store to see if they have it, too?

 

Just picked up some goodies at the Nova. Some details:
*Plenty of Pride & Joy, Arctic Panzer Wolf, Dreadnaught and BrooDoo.
*Apparently Munsterfest and something else were sent back to the distrib because they were old.
*FFF doesn't have a contract with the distributor that delivered these beers, so there is no guarantee of regularity. The nice young woman I spoke with guessed they'd get it in batches every other month or so.
*"That other store" had the same selection. Didn't have time to compare prices.
*According to their FB page, Alpha king went on tap about 20 minutes after I left the store...

 

Looks like I won't have to wait until April to get my hands on some 3 Floyds; Thanks for the heads up!

Picked up some Dreadnaught, Arctic Panzer, and Pride and Joy today. Has anyone tried the Broo Doo from there yet? I find it hard to believe a fresh hop harvest ale would be anywhere near fresh now.

 

It seems like a beer that would hold up to the passage of time. It's not as "wet" tasting as a lot of other fresh hop ales, more of just a regular ol' kick ass resinous IPA, so I don't think the flavors will degrade too much.

 

Damn! Three Floyds and Drie Fonteinen? I've got to get to Hudson.

 

Once upon a time that was a regular occurrence. Seems like so long ago.

 

Barker's Bar & Grill is rockin Three Floyds on draft too, Pride & Joy now with more to follow!

 

Not sure who handles three Floyd's in western WI general bev handles it in my area and per my sales rep three Floyd's promised more and more frequent for the coming months. Got 1/2 barrels of gumballhead, alpha king, gorch fock and pride n joy...no bottles though unfortunately. This bodes well for the future I feel.

 

Talked with Justin at Barkers tonight, has kegs of Arctic Panzer Wolf and Dreadnaught ready to tap next....yes please...

Does anybody know of they have zombie dust?

 

I'd say the odds of that are close to 0. Zombie Dust sees minimal distribution, mostly quite close to the location of the brewery. I imagine if ZD shows up in Hudson, there'll be a mad rush, and it'll sell out in hours.
