If you had to replace 3 Floyds Alpha King, Gumballhead and Zombie Dust, what would be your closest matches?

PsuedoSue is pretty close. Not quite as good as ZD, but I'd love to have either readily available!

Akari Shogun is better than Gumballhead in my estimation.
There is no good Citra Pale substitution readily available in Chicago. Citra Ninja is really tasty, but I hate when people compare a pale ale to a DIPA just because it has the same hops.

Boulevard 80 Acre is the closest thing to Gumballhead.

I sell two cases of 80 Acre a week as a replacement for Gumballhead. It doesn't have Amarillo hops but is dry and hoppy and probably the second best hoppy wheat in Indiana right now.

I am wondering what 3 Floyds puts in their beer when people need replacements. It is like they are looking for methadone because they cant get heroin. I just buy what else is on the shelf that I like, if something I want is out.

I find Head Hunter to be somewhat close to Zombie Dust, though it has a much more bitter finish.....and it comes in 4pks.

Dale's Pale Ale as a replacement for Alpha King is just wrong.

I would replace ZD with Flower Power. Citra Ninja exceeds it. Need to try 80 Acre again I guess.

I actually tried Saga last week and I was quite surprised I totally did not expect such a good IPA from Summit
