3 Floyds tap takeover at CCB

Hope I can make it over for this one.

 

Could see this being a ticketed event. I do feel for those at FFF. Can just imagine logistic issues they'll have with space.

 

Hope the Cigar City staff has to wear Hawks jerseys.

CCB vs. 3 Floyds: A Bet is a Bet

As you may recall, we placed a friendly wager with our friends at 3 Floyds over the Stanley Cup Final. Simple bet: if the Lightning win, we host a 3 Floyds tap takeover. If the Blackhawks win, they host us for a CCB tap takeover. There’s also a collab happening no matter the result.

Well, we all know how that went. Congrats to the Chicago Blackhawks and their fans!

And now, we must pay the piper. Details to be announced in the coming months on when this tap takeover is happening at 3 Floyds as well as what beer we’re sending.

Cheers to the Lightning, you guys had a great run, let’s do it again next year!

Not sure I understand. The Blackhawks won, so why is CCB hosting?

Im sure it was agreed theyd both do a takeover, regardless of the results. They both know us beer nerds want em both.

Win-win. It's cool that those -- in the Munster and Tampa Bay areas -- who wouldn't otherwise necessarily be able to try (because they can't travel or don't trade) these beers now can. (I know there's been some consternation on CCB's Facebook page from the Amelia Bedelias of the world who are bent that 3 Floyds didn't really "win" the bet and CCB didn't really "lose." So, so silly.)

I assume they'll do the CCB tap takeover at 3 Floyds first. I wouldn't expect one for 3-4 months.
