You have to sit outside because Three Floyd's is only licensed to have 90 (or 75?) people inside their pub at a time. They can get severely fined if they break that law, even if it is raining/snowing.

Ah gotcha, yeah that doesn't surprise me.

Their kitchen, the wait staff, the bar... none of them should get pounded with 90 people all ordering at once.

Most restaurants have the luxury of ramping up to the rush somewhat gradually. FFF has to go from 0 to capacity, and you really just can't do that gracefully. So it's either stagger seating or let the kitchen and bar get backed up.

I've worked in a restaruant with a smaller kitchen than FFF and we could make it happen with over 100 you just have to prep.

I'm pretty sure 90% (rough estimate of course) of the BA community would love to live that close to FFF. 40 mins isn't shit. I live further than that and feel fortunate to live as close as I do. To each there own I guess.

    Bingo.

Been there twice now and they will never rush you whatsoever. Any wait is worth it and then some.

I took my girl there on V Day...we walked right in and the place was almost empty...which surprised me.

I split the brownie with my girl on V Day...she snagged the middle...best restaurant dessert I've had...delicious and the plating was killer.

lol I brought my wife to Floyd's too hoping she wouldn't hate it too much. We even sat at the bar for dinner. She downed Zombie and BrooDoo all night and loved the food. Winning.

Thought about taking my girlfriend here, but she doesn't drink alcohol at all (allergy). You guys think she will be looked down upon? lol

Don't they make pills for people with alcohol allergies? If not, sounds to me like you have a designated driver for things like these.

Nope. We've taken my mom who "hates all beer" and I don't get any weird vibe. They do also allow kids in the dining room. You'll be fine!

My parents took me for my birthday 2 years ago...my mom doesnt drink beer, so she was our driver. We sat at the bar and they gave her free cheesecake for driving us.

They allow kids? Thought it was clearly posted 21? Have never seen kids in there.

I am pretty sure its 21+ for the entire building. They check IDs as you enter, not when you order a drink.

I've brought my kids there for lunch during the week. I believe it's after a certain time that kids are not allowed. Unless they changed it within the last month
