floyds would do well to bring back the chancellor and the goat tacos.

 

They absolutely allow kids, I take my daughter quite a bit. They just can't sit at the bar or (I believe) by the high tops near the bar. I'm sure they are not allowed after a certain time (IL law is something like 9pm, but not sure about IN). But I have definitely been in there until 8:30pm with my daughter.

On the topic of FFF, and without creating a new thread for a small question, has anyone heard of any plans to bring back Cimmerian Sabertooth Berzerker? Was randomly thinking about that beer this morning.

 

Yeah..that thread never really got anywhere. I really wish I found this forum sooner. Seems pretty chill here.

I haven't heard anything from FFF about plans to bring that back, but I do remember enjoying it. Does anyone ever organize beer meets or get togethers on here?

 

Had lunch there today (awesome food!) and I saw a couple kids with their parents. No wait. Got right to a table.

Btw, where the hell does this "bad service" rep come from? Each time I've been there, every single employee has been nothing but friendly and helpful.

 

People who don't get over-the-pants handys at their table like to trash FFF.

I've never had anything but exemplary service there.

 

I absolutely recommend for any one thinking they want their little one with them: Use some common sense. NO HIGH TOPS: Have sat people requesting a high top and then watched the happy care free attitude go to muted and consolatory after their kid took a dump face first to the (wood) floor. Needless to say the entire meal was pretty much ruined for that family.

 

Call me dumb, if you want to. What the heck does the phrase " may be burnt down "mean? Anyway, I had made trips to FFF during the week around the opening hour - never had to wait. Why not come up during the week, not on weekends...

 

Because people work during the week. I work 2-10:30, out in joliet IL, so going during the week is not an option.

 

How is it for dinner time during the week? I get off work at 5pm, so I could probably get there by 5:45ish from downtown Chicago. Or am I better off just going Sunday for lunch?

Can you buy beer from the brewery to take home? I plan on making the pilgrimage this summer and would love a case or 2 of Zombie Dust. Not trying to hijack the thread but I live in Mn and we have pretty shitty beer laws.
